Dear.../u r rite someways and not so rights someways as well.....tes post 2023 will see a decline...but now we are kit even at the begining of 2021....also, u mentioned that we have seen the peak....i beg to defer...peak may be not far i sight but not seen yet....yes i do agree we will not have thise crazy glove days wherby it went limit up few times and lasted several days...honestly,...i viewed that as specilative punting on fundamentally syring stock by retail punters with excess funds benefited from the loan monotorium....glad that those crazy will not repear again...what returns is the reality of the future prospected of the new NORMAL profit which was supernirmal profit few months back....what it brings is a pool of investors in seeach of deep value high growth stock....price will not jump but will grow in tandem with earnings....no doubt at times lrice can be erratic but at the end of day the market force will allign and price will be adjusted accordingly.....just like punting stocks after ramp up to rm1 from 0.05 eventually wil be alligned by the earnings reality and asjusted closed to its previous level.....of course sentiments and negativities and rumours play a part in pushinh the price lower but value will prevail.

Thus, u r not wrong abt the pre pandemic and post pandemic theory but i think we still have some legs before entering the post pandemic...of course everythg carry a risk even when we married our oartner or take up a partner we ate always taking a risk with out life....manage our risks and the rest will be taken care off.

This time ard is not a bonus issue but its a dividend by way of paying treasury shares on the ratio if 1/45...expect some selling however expectbot to be less intense as compare to previous bonus issue. Anyway, nobody knows and any predictions could be wrong.

Geek2020 The last round of share dividend, the share price was at RM20high and post ex it was RM10. After that the selling was so intense in people wanting to cash out. It went as low as RM5.70 before rebounding strongly. Some investors may think the dumping may be worse this round. However, now the stock is on a oversold position and bonus is not 1:1 but 1:45. But still, i think Malaysian investors won’t appreciate bonus shares as they are not long term investors. Dapat saja terus buang. Supermax should seriously consider stop bonus shares issuance and do cash dividends instead.

Still its puzzling the price got hit a day prior to the ex date. Historically and statistucally price will be adjusted on ex date and price price weakness after ex. This phenomena is puzzling. Of coursw market sentiments also play a role. In the same time. Its also indicate that most investora are not interested in the dividend and rather lock in the gain

Biliskecil Agil, my findings has been proven in supermax 1 year share price chart pre covid, see their share price is hovering around rm 1 - RM 1.5 Pre bonus issue which translate to RM 0.75 post bonus issue which means that the share price fair value is around that range. Any more facts needed? dint the chart just proof enough? a historic share price chart is not a fact? will you pay lambo price for a kancil?

Lets use XXX company, been losing q after q. And all of sudden signing mous here n there and get whack from 10 sen to over rm1.... for me, i always think this will go back to close to 10 sen when all the fever evaporated mainly this xxx has no fundamental as to speak ie no future earning stream to support its price uptrend as price share price is a functions of earnings, cash flow and many as to speak.

For super or some glove xounters the fundamental has changed...thus past record and trend is history... valuation will very much based on future..of course u may argue will the future earnings sustainable???? Many believe so but a few believe otherwise just like u...its dificult to argue who is right and who is wrong cos nobody knows what the future may lead....

My fren to make ur case more relevant u need to orovide your pove on your finding.
