My fren to make ur case more relevant u need to orovide your pove on your finding. Just loke u go to police station u tell police someone stole your lamborghini ans police ask u for details such as the ownership registration and who stole it but u tell the police “ dont need a genius” to know snd pove lah. I said i owned a lambor and someone stole means i said so lah....trying doing that and see what the officer said.
I always belive we always need to be intelectual enough to make our arguement stand. When one is stating figures and factuals and we disagreed woth that i think the most noble and manly way is tonprovide your own facts and figures to rebuke that. We dun use street wise tactic...that will be too low in my opinion. However, we do use street ta tics with street tactic though. U know what i mean..
By the way, no odybis asking u to invest in glove and u can leave and ALL in to vacines. We will be very happy for yulou to make it BIG in vaccines...there are so many oportunities around. I do agree with u, gkove is not the only one and glove sector investing is not for the faint hearted...

I think this will be sweet muzic to everyone’s ears including everyone here...and we all expect more and more speedy safe vaccines to be approved so that can ease the burden on the gloves sector dun have to beat the sole responsibilty to prevent the infectious figure going higher...more safe baccines approved will be a big relief to glove as well and looking forward to work hand in hand to ens the pandemic once and for all. What others did is just sharing link of information by professionals. Some are from well known journal wrotwes, wome medical experts and some from well known institutions...though not all articles are not completely accurate but that is their opinions and there are rooms for us to deliberate and discuss furher.
I m sure our comrades here sharing the linka of infor with the best heart and intenrion in theie mind....we all need vaccines but we want to be sure the vaccines that asmiater to you, to me to all of us. your parents, your spouce, your partner, your children, your brother sisters and relatives and all your love one is relatively safe..
Its nothing to do with whethwr we have vested interest in gloves that we wan vaccines to fail...but may be you wish for any unproven vaccines to be marketed so that u could see your dream of the demand if gloves evaporated?? But honestly all of us here wish for a safe vaccine to come sooner than later...its not about share investing. I believe in life there are more important issues than just merely financial gain...moreover. Experts already given opinions that vaccines and gloves go hand in hand...its sad that u either reduse to read or refuse accept the fact thus the ranting in such a poisonous way.....cool it my fren...

MatKoh @Agjl. Thanks buddy. I don't know how EPF operates at times and still can't understand why would they buy high and sell low on TG. Though I don't own any TG stocks, its still our hard earned money they're using to make foolish decisions.
In any case, best they don't start dabbling with Super then when they're operating with ikan bilis mentality.

My fren I think EPF’s average cost is still low. They held TG before pandemic and go thru the exercise i suppose. So they have more shares with average cost which may be still lower than now or even breakeven...i m just guessing. Like u said, nobody knows how they operate. They may be losing money in TG, who knows? As records shown before they are in deep lost position in many GLCs

MatKoh I have asked this question before as to why EPF has not bought any Super stocks and the answer given then was because it was not index linked. However so is Kossan and EPF has circa 8% stake in it. Why is that?

Maggieee..thanks for the advise.. i think i will reserve my opinion on the okd fox and keep it to myself..for one, hebis more senior than me and he has done some good for the society.. in business world we sun make the right decisions all the time and we dun make the wring decision all the time either... in regards to AT, i would not comment as anshow of my respect for him foe helping our kids to further their stuides and the building of schools ans the donations hybways of giving free land for the school.
Also i m less worry abt super as super is a totally diferent animal as compare to super. Super is a beast whereelse AT is still a cub in his motheer’s womb. Super churned out billions of gloves and has extended its reach globally while AT is still tigthening screws on its assembly lines..
Of course super price will be eratic in the next few weeks as sentiments are not with gloves at the moment.... if one can find a right entry point, i think the reward will be great...thats my humble opinion

No, 2.36% is just the %gain as per the share price to cost price as per the example. If the current price is RM 8.50 then 1000 units will give RM 8,500. But if your average cost is RM 8.0 then your total cost of 45,000 units is RM 360,000. Then if you divide 8,500/360,000 = 2.36% gain.

Agjl... actually it doesn't matter the closing price, but u need to compare to ur average cost price. Meaning if your average price is RM 8.00 and you hold 45,000 units which entitled you to 1,000 units and say when on the day the share dividend is issued to ur account the price is RM 8.50, then
your yield would be 8500/8x45000 = 2.36% . So the yield is fluctuating depending of the current share price to cost price of holding.
