Have strong believe about China economic potential due to size of their population and economic growth. Since I cannot directly invest in their listed companies in China best is through investing those listed in Malaysia. Myself also stingy like the China companies in spending(giving dividend?).

Msports has been listed since 2009. Meaning 6 years Msports annual report has been verified by their auditors. If read KYY postings in Xinquan his cousin even verified cash in Xinquan as true so cash in Msports likely true as well.

Last 2 QR Msports report loss perhaps they want to give good bonus to employees hence high administration expenses. Perhaps they reverse it in 4th qtr QR? When no bonus(or cut bonus) Lin resort to selling his shares? Only he himself suffer loss(buying ESOS at 11 sen but sell only 4.6 sen) but no loss to company(Msports) from his action.

Msports in Taiwan still stable at TWD 4.20. Meaning Lin selling is to spend money for CNY sound logical and not anything wrong in Msports. Rather than asking for money from company, selling own shares is better for shareholders. Perhaps no bonus(cut bonus) for Lin?

Now people clear why China counters in M'sia bad at paying dividend? Chinese is well known for "super stingy" hence offer only RM 1.80 for Shell.
Since Shell in trouble(heavy indebted) they have no choice but to accept it.

Erwin taking over is a high possibility. If he is the find out can he put Lin in jail?
Posted by PureBear > Jan 30, 2016 12:07 PM | Report Abuse
Another possible scenario:
If Lin sells all his shares then other substantial shareholder will take over the company & they will conduct a real audit & they may find out the discrepancy in accounting & Lin may go to jail!

That also not yet to include possible Permanis injection(why Erwin Selvarajah(Permanis CEO) bought last year) into Msports. See coming CNY many people are buying Permanis(Pepsi, Mirinda, Kickapoo) drinks.

Agree with show comments. Msports is shoes company whose customers is China 1.5 billion population. Sure their people can afford to spend RM 30-100(different qtr different people buying) every quarter whereas Ekran is construction company who need to fight with so many construction companies to get projects. So Ekran go bust but not Msports who is still cash rich.

Malaysian like to condemn China for cheating yet when in trouble(economy) likely to ask China for rescue. At least Xinghe has delivered and paid 0.2 sen dividend last year putting many local stocks to shame.

malinfan said in Msports thread people are dumping shares because need money for CNY celebration. Why is XDL not affected?
2016-01-13 09:43 | Report Abuse
If bonus add value to shareholders like what XDL do perhaps Msports should consider rewarding us 1 for 1 bonus as well.

Bonus is like a piece of cake cut into 2. Do we get more cake? I doubt so. Dividend is real money(reward) to shareholders not bonus.

cepatkaya1103 I agree with you. Hopefully people will look differently at Xinghe and other China counters if Xinghe keep their promise paying dividend for 2nd consecutive years because according to IPO 15% dividend policy is valid for 3 years. Those looking forward to another free warrant I think more likely next year than this year.
2016-01-04 15:11 | Report Abuse
Despite numerous complain about China stocks in Bursa at least profitable Xinghe has rewarded shareholders with dividend and free warrants last year as attached. This is something not all local stocks can do even some of them more than 10 X Xinghe price.

When Msports give free warrants in 2014 to shareholder do they ask us any money? To us free warrants is free but not to company need to spend RM million for each exercise. If Msports really no money why they can give us free warrant?
