Have strong believe about China economic potential due to size of their population and economic growth. Since I cannot directly invest in their listed companies in China best is through investing those listed in Malaysia. Myself also stingy like the China companies in spending(giving dividend?).

Chinaboleh If the reason given by richkid is XOX a bargain after sharp fall from IPO price 80 sen why not give China stocks a chance as well? Many stocks has fallen sharply from IPO price. Eg Msports IPO price 95 sen and now only 9.5 sen. Msports top 2 shareholders are also buying like XOX Wong Ah Yong.

Other China stocks to be considered is Xinghe(6.5)-cheapest dividend stock compare to IPO 12 sen.
Kanger 12.5sen also have insiders buying this year is also trading at sharp fall from IPO price.

What about local listed China stocks? Opportunity or threat?

Although Msports is not the one having RI, the same explanation can be given on low interest income in China saving account which is around 0.5%.

Answer given by Xingquan on cash call. Is their account in fraud? Are you sure local stock don't have same question if they cannot give dividend even their account show huge cash balance? If our Bursa Malaysia is good and take care of minority shareholders in Malaysia I hope they don't mind conduct special audit on one(or all even better) of China counters listed companies here cash balance(perhaps having a trip to China?). After all they are the one approving China companies listed here(to earn some fees?).
A lot of minority shareholders has suffered huge losses investing in those companies by silently cutting loss. If BN lose more votes next GE due to such reason should blame Bursa Malaysia as one of the culprit.

Ma Guoliang own 57% Xinghe. Do local stocks below 10sen have such huge major shareholding? That show how confident is Ma Guo Liang on Xinghe future prospect.
2015-10-16 11:45 | Report Abuse
Ma Guoliang said he will buy more Xinghe after he confirmed you(M'sian) can push up Xinghe. It is not Xinghe no good but he fear lose his pants to crazy Malaysian who like to cut loss.

I compare with XOX because both not paying dividend but Msports is only half price.
2015-10-16 11:32 | Report Abuse
It is not that Lin HuoZhi no money or Msports bad to buy. If after he buy some crazy Malaysian keep want to cut loss what will happen Lin HuoZhi wealth? Same thing happen to XOX. One shareholder only buy after others(i3 members) push it up.

Charles Dow up over 200 points. HK die today not to mention the high premium it currently fetch.
Why so much interest on HK? HK got give dividend? People like traderman complain on China stocks but why not on HK? HK is more than double up to 4 times China counters price.

why the return on interest income is so low.

Mr Erwin has bought at 10.5sen. Those selling at 9sen meaning he can buy even more quantity at cheaper price. That's why he no need to rush buying.

prince many local stocks(eg Frontkn, PM Corp, etc) never give dividend yet people chase far higher. Now you can buy Msports at very cheap price(and perhaps enjoy free warrants). That's why Mr Erwin(new substantial shareholder) also interested.
