It is very normal in the corporate world, after all, they are the directors and management, they have perks or had perks, they know the direction of the company. If they are confident, they will be the guarantor. Remember that pre-covid TopGlove PE is 60 because it was growing at 10% per year, now that their profit is declining ( or maybe no more growth) and with not much interest in glove counter for a foreseeable future, what will the PE be if their profit remains the same? If the PE goes to 16, what will the stock price be? RM0.50? Either their profit needs to go up by 4X to justify their 60 PE or stock price goes down to justify their earnings.
