Exactly, that's what Teo Cock Seong supposedly point out. The educators in these schools perpetuate stereotypes, prejudices, and inequalities among students of different religious and ethnic backgrounds. Addressing this issue requires a multi-faceted approach, including reforms in the education system to promote inclusivity, diversity, and understanding among students of various backgrounds.

Value Investing Principles: At the core of successful investing lies the practice of value investing, favored by many of the world's greatest investors. This approach involves a keen eye for companies trading below their intrinsic value, emphasizing a margin of safety. Investors employing this strategy aim to purchase assets when they are undervalued, ensuring a cushion against potential downturns, and ultimately sell when they become overvalued.

Long-Term Thinking: In the fast-paced world of finance, successful investors distinguish themselves by prioritizing long-term thinking over the allure of short-term gains. Rather than succumbing to the volatility of market trends, they anchor their investments in businesses with robust fundamentals and enduring competitive advantages. By steering clear of chasing fleeting opportunities, these investors cultivate portfolios that withstand the test of time, built on the foundation of sustainable growth and resilience.

So true. It's a cycle of blame-shifting and selective memory. Malay politicians conveniently forget the abuses non-Malay students endured in national schools, where they were often marginalized and pressured to conform. The rise of vernacular schools was a response to this systemic discrimination, yet now these politicians use them as a scapegoat for integration issues. It's a classic case of historical amnesia and political opportunism at the expense of genuine progress and inclusivity.

For decades, Malay politicians survive on raising issue about vernacular schools.
They cite these school does not promote integration.
These young prick politicians were kids in early 80s when the old fox came into power.
The amount of abuse non Malay students faced during that time in sekolaah kebangsaan seems to be erased from history. In the effort of getting rid of non Malay teachers, Malay headmaster and dubiously qualified teachers were flooded to replace them. These teachers would target non Malay students and put pressure on them. They would say "Go to Chinese or Tamil schools if you don't like it!" Non Malay student's achievements are underwritten to please Malays. So many agitations hence vernacular schools boomed. Now they are putting on blame on non Malays. Simply jealous and childish.

Vernacular school educators possess a unique advantage in breaking down divisive factors due to their inherent connection to local communities and cultures. These educators are deeply rooted in the fabric of their society, allowing them to understand the nuances of diverse belief systems with patience and open-mindedness.

1. **Cultural Understanding**: Vernacular school educators are often from the same cultural background as their students, giving them a profound understanding of the societal norms, values, and traditions that shape their students' perspectives. This familiarity enables them to approach discussions about divisive topics with sensitivity and empathy.

2. **Community Engagement**: Educators in vernacular schools are actively involved in their communities, which fosters a strong sense of trust and rapport with students and their families. This close connection enables them to navigate discussions about sensitive topics with care, fostering understanding and empathy among students from different belief systems.

3. **Language Proficiency**: Vernacular school educators are typically proficient in the globally relevant language, which is often the relevant medium of communication for their students. This linguistic fluency allows for effective communication and ensures that discussions about divisive issues are conducted in a manner that is clear and culturally sensitive.

4. **Cultural Sensitivity**: Vernacular school educators are attuned to the cultural sensitivities of their students and are adept at creating inclusive learning environments where diverse perspectives are valued and respected. This sensitivity helps in addressing divisive factors with patience and understanding, rather than exacerbating tensions.

5. **Role Models in Diversity**: By embracing and celebrating the diversity within their own communities, vernacular school educators serve as powerful role models for their students. They demonstrate that it is possible to bridge differences and foster unity through respectful dialogue and mutual understanding.

In conclusion, vernacular school educators possess the necessary qualities of patience, open-mindedness, and cultural sensitivity to effectively break down divisive factors and foster understanding and empathy across different belief systems. Their deep connection to local communities, coupled with their linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness, uniquely positions them as superior agents of positive change in society.

Understanding history is more important than religiosity when governing a country for progress in the new millennium for several reasons:

1. History provides valuable lessons and insights into the successes and failures of past governance models, policies, and strategies. By understanding historical contexts, leaders can make informed decisions that take into account the long-term consequences and avoid repeating past mistakes.

2. In an increasingly diverse and interconnected world, where people adhere to various religious beliefs or none at all, it's essential for governance to be inclusive and secular. Relying solely on religiosity to guide governance can alienate certain segments of the population, leading to social tensions and hindered progress.

3. The new millennium presents unique challenges such as rapid technological advancements, environmental concerns, and globalization. Religiosity may offer moral guidance, but it may not always provide practical solutions to these complex issues. Understanding history allows leaders to adapt and innovate, drawing on both past experiences and contemporary knowledge to address current challenges effectively.

4. Emphasizing an understanding of history encourages appreciation for diversity and pluralism, fostering a more tolerant and inclusive society. Religiosity, when prioritized in governance, can sometimes lead to discrimination or favoritism towards specific religious groups, undermining social cohesion and hindering progress.

In summary, while religiosity can provide moral guidance for individuals, understanding history is crucial for effective governance in the new millennium. It enables leaders to make informed decisions, promote inclusivity, adapt to change, and uphold democratic principles, ultimately facilitating progress and development for all members of society.

Unworthy MP who fail to understand the past, work for the present and plan for the future

Understanding the history of the new Chinese village of Malaya during the communist threat period is crucial for members of parliament. Without this knowledge, they may fail to grasp the complexities and nuances of past policies and actions, hindering their ability to make informed decisions about current affairs and future legislation. By neglecting to comprehend this history, MPs risk overlooking the socio-political context that shaped the village's development and the experiences of its inhabitants. Consequently, they may inadequately address the needs and concerns of those affected by past events, perpetuating injustices or misunderstandings. Thus, members of parliament who lack an understanding of this historical background may not fully serve the interests of their constituents or uphold their responsibilities as elected representatives.

Divisive factor no.1: Poor Scientific Foundation
The new age ideology of interconnectedness is grounded in scientific principles, particularly in the fields of biology and chemistry. By teaching children about the shared atoms that make up their bodies and how these atoms cycle through the Earth's biosphere, educators provide them with a tangible and evidence-based understanding of their connection to all living beings.

Divisive factor no.2: Failure of educators to tap into inclusive nature of humanity
Unlike religiosity indoctrination, which may exclude individuals who do not adhere to specific religious beliefs, the concept of interconnectedness transcends cultural and religious boundaries. It promotes inclusivity by emphasizing the commonality of all human beings and their connection to the natural world, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Shame on this historian who knows so little compare to Yuval Noah Harari. The paradox of fundamentalism lies in its dual capacity to foster unity among certain adherents while simultaneously fracturing broader communities. Rooted in rigid doctrines, fundamentalist beliefs often invite diverse interpretations, inadvertently creating rifts among individuals who hold contrasting views on the same faith-based principles.
