Bullhunter the political postings appear after FGV drop. Do you have better idea how to make FGV up then you should suggest something.

Bullhunter you cannot blame them. Even PM Najib cannot see here newspaper, politician or fund managers can highlight to PM.

CPO price drop almost below 1400 per tonne and expecting even more lower in coming few months, this is not a good sign. Price raised recently could be not sustainable

If read today Starbiz section on oil palm output FGV ranked 2nd losing only to Sime Darby beating even IOI, KLK, Kim Loong, TSH, J Tiasa and many others on oil palm output despite share price far cheaper. Like Warren Buffet said before be greedy when others(analysts) are fearful.

So long EPF never transact but when they did they disposed.

Although analysts said change of CEO is reason to abort Zhong Ling acquisition I think recent CPO price big jump also responsible. When CPO price is high FGV will make big profit as in year 2014 and before thus less need to make risky acquisition.

Why El-Nino if not to help FGV?

Like it or not Emir is the 1 complaining foreign worker levy hike(at first hike to RM 1500 which later reduced to only RM 640). While many acquisitions done during his time as CEO yet to bear fruits as expected hope he is right when CPO price keep climbing like now.

Agree with Andy Lau. Because of their non true coverage of FGV(eg Eagle High news which so far actually no news at all is it Edge anti-BN as they was banned last year and this year related co Malaysian Insider totally ban) I have stopped buying Edge and instead buy their rival magazine Focus.

The edge wants to kill fgv, refer weekend hardcopy of edge, citing issues we already know but reiterating red flags on the prc deal. Fgv CEO must be replaced. Useless idiot who only know how to shop till u r dead. Fcpo may b up, Sarawak election may b on board but this lame share is screwed. Money politics can rule in bolehland even though we minorities or felda settlers r unhappy.

If good deal done by FGV(Zhong Ling) no need to complain. Complains will come when deal like Eagle High and GL Bhd both of which way overpriced in term of PE.
