In future, ceteris paribus, would show much better results because last QR already 100% recognised share of losses in JV.

Own this, own that, but still no income to reward shareholders...few years down the road if don't sell what they own, must punish shareholders by issuing rights again.

Agree with i3. I also bt LA at 1.19 but cabut at 1.26, but looks like the price differential between LA and mother has narrowed.

Jason, his 0.70 probably is because he has been shouting RM1.70 at the mother site. Jolly good, come, come, we all shout, and if loud enough, maybe it will actually reach 0.70 here.......0.7000000000000 Huatttttttttttttt

zzzz, to breakeven, mother needs to (or perceived to) break RM1.40. Meantime, good luck and hope that someone ignores mother price and really goreng WB. May the force be with you.

It is NA not NTA i.e., includes intangible stuff as well. Regardless whether NA or NTA, if one thinks that one day the NA will be reflected in the share price, then, by all means take a chance and invest. The NA is the dangling carrot to make the donkey move forward. Privatisation??? LSH must be really loaded to privatise, given that he has so little income in the last few decades from Mulpha but has to keep pumping money thro rights, I am amazed that he is still financially sound (I guess).

Mirage, i3 cabut at 1.24....don't think he will buy back at 1.27 now????

IMHO, I somehow doubt Mulpha share price would perform after consolidation exercise. On paper Mulpha looks like an excellent Co with great assets in Johor and Aus but over the last few decades, besides calling for rights, it has not really increased the value of the Co. On the contrary, it has actually depleted the wealth of any long term investors. As a penny stock, naturally, there would be some interested speculators who hope that Mulpha would one day move like Inari or Ecoworld or IWCity. I was one of those that had also punted on Mulpha, sometimes win, some times lose. Of course I don't expect to win everytime. I suppose after consolidation, when it is adjusted to RM2.60+, punters like me would ignore Mulpha altogether. It would just become a boring stock. Looking at Mulpha biz model, unless it sells its subsidiaries or associates, it needs to forever raise rights issues as it has little or no source of income at Holding level . As a penny stock it is difficult to price rights. I suppose at RM2.60 it may be easier to price rights.

Finally, Mulpha gonna reach TP of RM2.65.

Under the new Co ACt, no more share premium. If want to issue BI using share premium would need to do before 31.01.2017.....

Paperplane, you come here to shout ghost town again and hope IWC go doen to 80 sen again???
2017-03-21 12:52 | Report Abuse
TP of 73sen is probably a dream. For 73, the mother would probably need to go up to about RM1.60. At the moment, the euphoria surrounding the mother seems to have die down a bit. At current price of RM1.25, I guess WB is at best worth 40 sen. For bravehearts, if think mother can go up to RM1.30, WB at 46/47 still boleh beli but for chicken hearted like me, I wait and see. My 2 sen worth.

WB buyers more right since last week. Kakaka. More important everyone huat...RM1.500000 then RM1.75...Then GoldenShares' RM2.000000...WB 0.50...Then 0.60...then 1.00
2017-03-16 10:33 | Report Abuse
Wah GoldenShares, awak sini juga. Mari mari, kita jerit sikit and help move up WB too.
2017-03-16 10:30 | Report Abuse
i3, buying LA is additional minor risk compared to mother and actually better option. Look if someone buy mother at say RM1.30, then he/she is optimistic that price will go higher than RM1.30 in the next few days, else why go in at RM1.30? With same optimism, why not go for LA which is 10sen cheaper. The additional risk is the time factor for conversion from LA to mother. If buy mother and goes down to RM1.25 lose money, but if buy LA at 1.20 and convert still make 5sen profit.Wise choice i3.

Waseh, WB finally catching up with mother movement. IF mother TP is RM1.50 to RM1.75, then WB should be in the range of 55sen to say 80sen. WB go go go.
2017-03-16 10:16 | Report Abuse
YeeLou IWC only 1 counter, should pay attention to other counters too. See then was 29 sen now 45sen, up 55% less than 1 week. Nobody here, so I have to go shout at the mother blog to encourage people to buy son. Sad....Kakakaka

GoldenShares suddenly appear and ask for RM2.00...let's dream lah. Waseh, WB also went up from 32.5 to 40.5 >24% gain. If your RM2 happens , then WB = RM1.10 lor

Dato Sri Thong can pretend to start some sort of corporate exercise or start rumour to move HHup. Then green like IWCity or Malton. Kakaka. Of course IWC is real whereas Malton is rumour. Better still, get the Edge to paint some sort of glorified future for HHup.
2017-03-15 10:16 | Report Abuse
Finally, Malton WB moving faster than normal. If mother TP is RM1.50, then WB in the money at RM0.50, if 10% premium also will fetch 65sen > 90% gain. Waseh, why nobody interested in WB????
2017-03-14 11:53 | Report Abuse
BTW, SK Liew, do you actually believe investment banks given TP? Many years ago I used to believe them and also their fanciful and glorified write-ups. After a while, I realised most of their TP are quite useless, so as a rule of the thumb, for fun I would reduce their TP by 20% to 30% as my TP. LOL
2017-03-14 11:44 | Report Abuse
If Ho Hup is to do some construction work with pittance returns + wait for durian runtuh from BJC land, then one would comfortably say Ho Hup is worth at least RM1.50 above. However, they are venturing into property development somewhere in Kulai with a much longer gestation period(need to deliver land owners portion first), I am quite uneasy about that having seen what happened to Kampar property market near UTAR. Of course no venture no gain. As for their construction biz, unless they can match the likes of IJM and Gamuda, coupled with Chinaco contractors who offer deferred payments, then most likely HHup will get leftovers projects with little or negative returns. I suppose the near term catalyst is the rights issue. Looking at their last QR, bank borrowings due next 12 months is RM160M, unless they manage to negotiate new loans to defray the matured loans, they would need to call for the rights. Curious why rights was deferred??

BTW, whether RM1.75 or not, what is interesting is that today there are people out there buying > 1000 lots each time at RM1.19. So if the price don't go up, these same people would be crying. Notwithstanding, let's give them moral support...Malton above RM1.50000000

i3, I don't think too high. Difficult to achieve but achievable. Never mind rumour of merger with WCT, Malton itself is grossly undervalued given that it has RM Billion of unbilled sales in BJC, + Construction projects in hand, TTDI & Rapid property development in future and cash flow from revocation of Batu Kawan. Why not RM1.75????

i3gambler..not disputing it, I read moneytrail link..anything that is positive and make sense, naturally has to agree lor. So, if RHB's target can be achieved (I hope it is achieved) then it's not wrong to say WB should be 90sen...

Jimmylee...Last week here they shout RM1.50, then RM1.64, this morning become RM1.75. If like this, why WB = 36sen? May as well say 90sen..based on 10%premium on TP of RM1.75.Kakakaka

SKLiew, your last post sounds bitter that Malton had gone up since Jan 17?? Yes agree that HoHup last few qtrs better than Malton but Malton up because of what they have for tomorrow not just because what they DID yesterday. As for tomorrow, one can say that HoHup also not too bad if RHB's report is anywhere near accurate. RHB said BJC GDV RM4B..meaning HoHup share would be RM720M. Less RM93M recognised =RM627M at say 85% margin = RM530M future profit to recognise. Oolala

Wong Kit Leong/Raymond/Monteiro, their interest in HHup is via Red Zone. As there is no mention of new substantial shareholder, then presumably, Red Zone must have sold its interest in Omnesti to Mah Siew King. Omesti still has 12M warrant in HHup. I am curious as to... will MSK exercise or sell his + Omesti warrant(presumably now he has full control of Omesti). If he exercise, probably that means he has confidence in HHup, but if he sells....
