Jessieps...I have no idea how you get the rights worth 20sen and the price at 39 sen??? If based on current price of 24.5/25.0, the TERP is around 21 to 22 sen. Therefore the rights price when traded should be around 1 to 3 sen. Of course it is anybody's guess what the actual rights price would be but 20 sen would seem to be a wee bit far fetched.

I am amazed that there are still people who thinks that IWC is worth > RM3. They sure are an optimistic lot. Given that IWH had valued itself at RM1.50 per share and IWC as proxy of IWH, why should IWC then be worth more than RM1.50? Moreover the valuation includes Bandar Msia. If everyone subscribe for their rights, there would be 1,513,400,000 warrant and even if PNB holds on to their warrant (689M), there would still be 825M warrant in the market. With so many sellers, maybe the warrant worth 1 to 2 sen only. If you have 100,000 shares now, you need to fork out RM84,000 for the RI and the consolation you get is 70,000 warrant worth 2 sen. IMHO, it is possible that the price may go south bound after UMW Holdings had distributed their UMWOG shares because approximately 450M UMWOG shares will be distributed to other shareholders (i.e. Non PNB + PNB unit trust). These new shareholders may not be interested in UMWOG shares in the first place or may not be willing to fork out more money for the rights thus may sell their UMWOG shares received from UMWH.

Born..we really don't know what the major shareholders want to do. The only thing consistent is the Low side seems to be waiting to sell their warrants. As for major shareholders buying at high price, I am not too sure about that. MSK bought from Extreme at RM0.80 and converted ICPS( issue price 0.50), average at about 0.65. Thong had about 11,000,000 bought probably between 0.60 to 1.00, convert 11,000,000 ICPS, convert 5,500,000 warrant at 0.60, convert 5,643,000RCPS, the rest bought between 2014/2015 probably at RM1.20 to RM1.80.

bluedolphine..doubt so. UMWOG announcement dated 19.01.17..Section 2.2,and 6.1 ..424,635,175 UMWOG shares to be issued for ICON MGO (679,416,280 ICON shares). For every 1,600 ICON shares you get 1,000 UMWOG shares. At current UMWOG price of 0.63, ICON is worth 0.395. Another way of looking at it, at current ICON price of 0.475, then UMWOG has to go up to 0.76. If the proposal materialise at current offer conditions, then IMHO, I think better to sell 1600 ICON shares at 0.475 =RM760 and buy 1200 UMWOG shares at 0.63(RM756) than to wait for MGO where you get only 1,000 UMWOG shares.

IMHO if the proposed MGO by UMWOG is materialised, then it is likely that ICON shareholders will also lose out. Based on the announcements, the MGO is via a share swap of which ICON is valued at 0.50 and UMWOG at 0.80. Meaning if you have 1600 icon shares, you get 1000 UMWOG shares. The current price of UMWOG is 0.63, i.e. your 1600 ICON shares is worth only RM630 ...39.5sen
