Malaysian homes 'seriously unaffordable', says BNM official
No idea who actually benefited from all these construction of expensive houses? Definitely not the minority SH, not the poor. Situation will continue as no effective actions seriously taken as authorities and companies management will love to enjoy their high remuneration. But at the same time talk responsibily.

Sunset? On line purchase becomes a norm. Rising number of convenient stores such as 99 (dekat lagi murah), KK stores, 7/11, shops selling vegetables, fruits and meats....
Challenging environment and really need to pump in new elements to survive better.

7 days ago rhb said it may rebound higher, hopefully is not paid for doing that. Bursa should formulate window period where analysts should not published their remarks during window period, eg close to results announcement, same go to management for commenting its potential as may subject to abuse.

May push up before announcement of Q results which personally expect to be poorer as last Sep results was at the high end. Hai O, for eg, was pushed up before the announcement of poorer results, then dropped quite substantially. ST 85 remains. LT positive if business momentum remains and environment strengthened.

@analysts... I had been observing this counter when it was around $1 around 5 years ago and attracted by its nta then. Luckily did not invest in it but just wish to highlight some concerns noted. You or other SHs should request for clarification on the above and ask whether non controlling interest provided any resources for those projects undertaken.
I won't just comment just because I didn't own the stock. In the case of London biscuit for eg, where I invested some before, yet I critiqued it when it was traded above 60 after hold for a few years. Anyway, I finally disposed of above 60 as trust on management has ceased, and huge borrowings as well as frequency of private placements are just beyond my tolerance level.
Good luck anyway.

When US imposed tariff, price dropped from above 60 to below 50. When US uplifted tariff, price is unable to surge. May be is timing as global environment is becoming even more challenging now.
Unresolved trade conflicts, countries in war increasing, political environment remains gloomy as politicians trying to survive better but not for the nation, etc. Anyway, good luck everyone.

enigmatic... yes, based on notice received. Luckily some other banks or development banks have not changed yet. Some bod of pbb are used to be regulators, yet they can't wait to squeeze consumers for their own interest. Shame on them.
TP15 amidst on going attempts to exploit consumers in addition to potential rate cut, global trade conflicts, new payments players, political environment uncertainty, relatively expensive if based on valuation, and old man syndrome.

Please be informed that with effect from 8 November 2019, the Interest/Profit Payment Mode for all
existing Fixed Deposit/Term Deposit-i (FD/TD-i) placements under the Bank’s FD/TD-i Campaigns
launched since 2016 will be converted from ‘Monthly Crediting to Current Account/Account-i or
Savings Account/Account-i’ to ‘Crediting to Current Account/Account-i or Savings Account/
Account-i Upon Maturity’.
Is better under the old regime before merger as small banks are willing to offer better services and interest rates. Regulators and authorities often shouting to minimise income discrepancies but the actions they took always caused more damages.

“Since these units remain unsold, why not let foreigners buy them? It helps revive the local construction industry and ensures developers have a healthy working capital,” Lim told ....
In the first place, who asked developers to construct so expensive houses which does not meet the local low income condition. All just want to get rich fast. As for minority SHs, whether those units sold or not they will continue to get little dividends, no idea the $ ultimately go to where.

MT est, MYR to become 4.80 so that exports remain competitive in terms of pricing; cost of living continue upwards trend as imports become more costly due to weak MYR. Income discrepancies continue to widen as policy makers only formulate generic statement but blur in action plan. Even among government servants and statutory bodies staff, income discrepancies is high. Full disclosure is necessary to build in public scrutiny for a fairer system.
In short, save and invest within own risk appetite as don't expect much from anyone. Good luck.

Only for speculation play. As highlighted, when making profit, non controlling interest shared most of its profit (did they contribute any resources for those projects???), this is extremely odd. You can make a comparison with other listed companies on net profit distribution. Next, outstanding borrowings will kill the company, just interest itself is too heavy.

Believe minority SHs will ask for a higher dividends but don't think management is capable to deliver and want to listen. If you think total dividends in the next 15 years can totalled up to $600, may take the risk. Otherwise just sell and keep $600 in EPF for 15 years.
