The operator continues to push down Hua An on continued weakness in the broader mkt led by a sharp drop in Prestariang.
Currently, Bursa counters are "attacked" on 2 fronts:
1. Mkt operators that make use of buy and sell queues to induce more selling;
2. Words from operator's runners or agenda-driven forumers that talk down on the counters, hoping to collect cheap.
If you really cannot stomach this heightened stress test, I guess it is better to surrender and sell early....

Sadly, a lot of "Prestariang" punters lost $$$ today, "played out" by the operator and aggravated by emil's sell call...

Haha, u do not need to understand that. The fact remains lancetsy can never be Mr Liu, in all capacities...
2018-12-10 11:39 | Report Abuse
Put it this way, I think Mr Liu is a smart guy. He would not want to sell a big chunk of shares in the open mkt to depress his own share price. Moreover, he could have had a business consideration to sell a stake to another party if that party can be deemed as an asset to the company. Only the parties involved know exactly the reason.
But if lancetsy happens to be Mr Liu, I dare not imagine...

Married deals are off-mkt deals done between 2 parties on a willing-buyer-and-willing seller basis, out of personal/business considerations.
Today, most penny stocks are down slightly on low vol. A good sign if this can be maintained.

Haha, emil is trying to use his foul mouth to collect cheap shares at 10 sen. Let's see if his scare tactic can work. Who knows he is a runner from the operator? We can wait for durians to drop then...lol

Gohhocks,
Your so-called good share, Tunepro, can drop from 73 sen on 15 Nov, until 60 sen now(a drop of 17.8% in less than a month). So, we can deduce that this steep drop is across the board. Most counters are affected and it clears the misconception that only Hua An drops a lot.
Anyway, nobody knows for sure how the economic events are going to play out. Once the good news/factor comes in, all counters should get a lift up, hopefully in January.
Incidentally, I was rather amused by one of the postings at Tune Protect Group's thread:

Gohhocks, you speak like an expert? I hope you are not wrong about Tune Protect Group's price. It is at 60 sen now.
For those who are very bearish about Hua An, better sell early....at Gohhocks's sell call.

Qtr result not very bad, if can deliver EPS of 7-8cents for 2018, dividend should be around 3.5 cents, which still yield more than 4%, looking at current share price of 73 cents, it’s still quite attractive..

I just checked the Bursa website. It was a married deal on 5 Dec at 18 sen. I wonder who has bought from him(4.81% stake).

Haha, all of you are so good in predicting future prices. Go to Genting Highland to bet big or small. Easier to win! Even mkt operator also cannot tell precisely where the price will be eventually. Much will depend on economic developments and company performance.
Otherwise, it is an easy job for everybody. All can wait for the so-called lowest price to buy and the so-called highest price to sell.

Mkts will not drop forever. I begin to see light at the end of the tunnel:
1. OPEC has just announced an output cut. Oil price rallies on the news. Good for oil net-exporting countries like Malaysia;
2. Fed Chairman Mr Powell has said US rates are near the neutral rate, meaning less rate hikes for 2019. Good for businesses generally, esp those with high external debts;
3. US-China trade war: Trade talk is in progress.

Awea Pro, do not be a sore loser. This counter has dropped a lot alongside with 90% of all Bursa small and mid-cap stocks(including your favourite Priceworth). If u think that this counter is a rubbish stock, then u should go and say the same thing to all other penny counters in other threads as well.
I know u are a victim of "chasing high", having lost an undisclosed amount on this counter previously. That is why I do not chase high like u.
Frankly speaking, quite a no of Bursa counters have been "deliberately" pressed down so low due to poor mkt sentiments that the investment values(with ROI potentially higher than FD rates) start to emerge on a longer term basis. If I can afford, I will want to slowly buy up more good counters to keep. Currently, I have exposure in this counter, so I want to average down my holding cost.
Do not follow me if you do not have holding power.

As expected, there's positive news from the G20 meeting. China and HK mkts got a strong boost from the news today - a 90 day tariffs truce to iron out outstanding trade matters.
Hopefully, the worst is over for Hua An, near-term. Let's wait for the mkt operator to slowly warm it up for punters like Paloma to join the 2019 new-year party specially arranged for them. Lol.
I believe most of u have learnt some good trading advice from me. I will not be so active in my postings from now on as it takes up a lot of my precious time.

Today is the last trading day of Nov. Tomorrow marks the start of Dec, when most traders/investors have planned to go on holiday with their families.
Trading activities will be subdued. Mkt operators will call shots. Preserve bullets for any cost averaging needs and stay disciplined with your trade plan.

Do u know why some seasoned players call these mkt operators "sharks"?
Because they like to do these 2 things to exploit on the mkt sentiments:
1. To.add oil to fuel when mkt is hot;
2. To rub salts in players' wounds when mkt is bad.
All for 1 purpose - to maximise gains

A lot of pp simply shout "run" when price is pushed down. Did they test the mkt operator?
If we collectively queue 500k shares to buy at 19 sen, u think the operator dares to churn down? Later, he may have to buy back at much higher prices to cover.

Tipster, how long have you been in this mkt? U speak as though u are a newbie.
Every Dec, pp are going for holidays. Not in a buying mood. So, buying demand is low. So, the operators can churn down easily.
Why are they doing this? To collect low and prepare for the new year rally, when pushed up to throw to punters like Paloma(who thinks higher prices are better) to chase high and release their stocks.
Haha..do not be fooled with what u see! Mkt is always for the prepared!

ShareRich, smart move! You are doing what the mkt operator is doing now. Sold much higher earlier and buy back much lower(by pushing down the price now)
2018-11-29 15:59 | Report Abuse
This is obviously the "collaborative" work by the operators combined. A lot of counters have been deliberately pressed down across the board to shake out investors. Look at Prestariang, it comes down even more today after its result release yesterday.
If you cannot stomach such volatility, you will simply fall into their trap to sell. The more the selling pressure, the lower they will push down..
The year-end lull period is here, where mkt demand is not high. This scenario is expected to change, comes January next year when mkt participants come back for the new year(CNY rally).

China and HK mkts have been rather resilient of late. The HSI call warrants are having a better time, after heavy drops earlier in the year.
Is this an indication of better times to come or just a speculative play by the big boys before the G20 meeting? We will catch a glimpse of it at the coming G20 meeting this weekend.

A stronger HK mkt has given a good excuse for operators to push up some speculative counters like Prestariang, My Eg Services, etc. Incidentally, these stocks were down last Friday.
Net net, they are still held in a trading range planned and dictated by the smart operators.

The situation is very different for Prestariang. Some punters had chased high in the last 2 days. If the operator shakes on the price, he can easily collect back some of his sold shares at lower prices....
But somehow, it affects the sentiments on other penny stocks like Hua An..

Vincent,
My situation is vastly different from yours. My investment cost is low. I can sell anytime when I can make a profit. For longer term investors, you must do your own assessment of the company's latest investment, taking into account your own investment objective and timeframe too.
Mkt can be weak short term, but it can still have periods of upswings, supported by any positive mkt factors, eg G20 meeting(a trade deal?), FOMC meeting(positive guidance on 2019 US rate hikes?), CNY rally, etc..
People never plan to fail. But they fail to plan...

In the good old days(during the CLOB International), a lot of older Singaporeans also liked to punt on Malaysian shares during the period of 1990s. And they learnt their lesson after big drops in prices following the super bull run in 1993 and the later abolition of the CLOB International.

I wonder if punters do this. The answer is no. Majority just punt on vol, not knowing they are being made "pawns" in the operator's overall game plan. This applies to most stocks at Bursa.
Of course, the winners are those who chase earlier and the losers are those who chase last..

Why do I monitor this? If suddenly a surge of vol, I can tell which way the operator churns...
Haha...

In a casino, some players use "system bets" to enhance winning chances at the casino. Likewise, we can use "dollar cost averaging" in a stock mkt to beat volatility.
Given a weak mkt, if we plan our trades well in a smart and disciplined way, we can still make a profit(provided the company does not make a huge loss or gets delisted) by doing dollar cost averaging. Once the prices goes above our average holding cost, we can sell for a profit. In fact, this is also practised by the mkt operator.
Wow, I share another trade secret of the operator today....
