Apparently, mkt operator is in control of this counter. This palm plantations disposal is actually good news for the company - very good profit from the sale. But the operator makes it look like lousy or bad news.

This could mean the operator is doing a distribution(from tickets collected cheaper in the last 2 days).

I have given my views on this counter. Let's wait for a clearer direction from the operator - to see which way it is moving. Meanwhile, take appropriate action needed.

Today, even the glove counters are not performing...

Oh, I was not aware of that. Any other good points that investors have missed out?

Some possible explanations for the lacklustre share price performance:
1. Investors are not fully aware of the intrinsic value, apart from its NTA per share of 61 sen.
2. Very low coverage from analysts/investment banks. Not much publicity.
3. Only 1 quarter of turnaround profits. Not convincing enough. Moreover, no dividend declared.
4. Current mkt concentration is on health-related theme. Other themes are not in strong play.
5. Bursa mkt has rebounded quite substantially in the past 2.5 months. How much more can it go up short-term?

Today, the glove counters took away lots of attention from the punters.

So, the operator has no incentive to push up too.

On my screen, I see 6 horses running..Looks like Rubberex runs faster than Comfort today..Not a buy recommendation though...

But all punters are busy watching glove counters. No time for other counters.

Frankly, I do not like to set a target price for any counter. A lot will depend on a number of variables. To be realistic, the first hurdle is for it to break the recent barrier of 46 sen first. Hope it will not take too long...

Today's market is affected by glove counters. If it can hold above 40 sen, that will be considered good enough.

This morning, market sentiments are affected by a sharp drop in glove counters. But hot money seems to rotate into lagging counters such as oil, (certain) plantation and bank counters.

The recent high was 46(not 47) sen. This is the 1st time(other than the recent high of 46 sen) in recent history that it has consolidated and closed above 40 sen. Good showing today.....

A lot of these healthcare counters(including even glove counters) have been pushed up to overheated valuations, helped by syndicates, stockists and hit-and-run punters.

Many investors/punters are chasing crazily after glove and healthcare counters. I stayed focused on laggards with some fundamentals.

Compared to what major shareholder Datuk Johari has paid 68 sen for a major stake in this company, 38 sen is very much at a discount. Hope to collect more at lower prices.

In this exceptionally low-interest-rate environment, more people will be lured into the stock market for a higher return. But stock pick is important too. Do not chase high.

Chartwise, after moving narrowly within the Bollinger band for 1.5 month, it broke up above(with large vol) last Thursday, currently staying higher on the upper band.

During this Covid 19 pandemic period, a lot of companies reported either a drop of quarterly profits or even losses. This is one of the fewer companies that showed a good turnaround in its profits(NTA per share as at 31 Mar 2020 stood at 61 sen).

It has exposure in many business fields, including palm oil plantations. Prospects have brightened up, after India resumed its purchases of Malaysian palm oil recently.

Trading vol has expanded too since the recent result release, which indicates some speculative interest in it. Nobody can tell for sure how it will be played up in the coming days. But at 30+ sen, I have the flexibility to average down and collect more, should the price drop further.

This counter has entered my radar watchlist after it released a strong set of quarterly results last Thursday. Share price surged 16 sen on the same day to a high of 46 sen before correcting itself to close at 37.5 sen last Friday on the eve of long weekend holidays and a plunge in the HK mkt over China's national security law.

I can start to accumulate this counter on weakness.

EPF ceases to be a substantial shareholder, only meaning it holds less than 5% shares. Whether it sells in future, it needs not declare.

IFCA would attract a fair amount of speculative play initially as it is deemed to be a strong candidate for GST implementation. We can expect better days ahead for IFCA only if it is finally shortlisted. GST business is an almost recession-proof business operation.

Someone suggests we should move to counters that will benefit from this crisis, eg the hottest theme of glove counters.

In this regard, let me share my views on glove counters:
1. Valuations are already very stretched after prices have spiked up;
2. Big boys and traders have already positioned huge trades at the start of this virus outbreak, taking good profits along the way, as and when prices are pushed higher;
3. Many countries, including China, have started to ramp up productions to meet global demand;
4. With many countries going into lockdown, virus situation could soon see a flattening of the curve(if there are no subsequent waves);
5. Risk-reward ratio is not compelling at all for traders at current price levels. In fact, the prices nowadays tend to move along with the broader market, with occasional spikes when virus cases spike up.

I have made some good profits from a glove counter. But it is probably too late for others to enter now. Longer-term investors should patiently wait for a major price correction.

Stock mkt is a rich men's game, with complex and diverse game rules, eg forward pricing, gap up/down, mkt catalysts, etc. Mkt has taught me not to be a smart alec as to predict share prices and time the bottom.

After this round of a mkt rebound is completed, if share price does come down more, I can restart my trade plan.

Somebody tells me oil counters jumped 20 to 30% yesterday. It was kind of crazy. I said this was because it had dropped the most drastically during this virus-hit period.

Honestly, IFCA is not bad either. From a low of 17 sen, it has recovered 47%, as of yesterday's closing price.

Dow futures are up 100+ points this morning, offsetting yesterday's sharp loss. Hopefully, our market can hold up better today...

Today, the mkt is so hot, stirred up by mkt operators of all sorts. Somebody asked me whether we are still in a bear mkt. I smiled and said, "This is how mkt works. We must not get carried away".

I just checked. 25 sen - only 1,100 shares done(by the market operator) this morning. So, 25 sen is another hurdle set by the operator currently...

Bursa has already been in a bear mkt. That is why this counter has dropped to a low of 17 sen, not seen in years. Following Dow's rebound last night, let's see how much further the mkt operator will bring us to.

Share prices do not go up or down in a straight line. They move like waves. So, if you are worried for any reason, you can take advantage of a rebound to sell into strength.

By the way, he gave a sell call, the moment the last quarterly report was out on 24/03/2020. This was probably when the price of this counter was near its lowest, at 61 sen. He might mean well, but his unsound advice might have caused some poor chaps to sell their shares at a dirt cheap price.

Of course, this counter has been up for 3 consecutive days today, after price and vol have spiked up already. Nobody can be 100% sure how much higher the banker will continue to play this counter and for how long, given the current mkt conditions.

This is just an overdue technical rebound for this counter on some positive leads. Got to see how much the market operator has collected in the past and if it is worthwhile to push higher, given the market condition now..
