When market is no good, there are more sellers than buyers. The operator will usually push it down to test supports...and collect. Nobody can tell exactly how low it can go... got to wait for it to stabilise first.

Nancy, pls avoid giving sweeping statements. Based on his vast knowledge of Malaysian shares, he could well be a Malaysian too. Do not let your ill feelings towards him misguide you.

Calvin, do you know that by giving a super high(and sometimes unrealistic)price target, you are inadvertently telling people to buy, even though you always argue that you never asked people to buy when PM Corp went up above 15 sen.
Ask yourself. Why are there so many forumers against you? I think it is because of your unrealistic price targets. Your super high price target reminds me of those sharks trying to lure retailers to buy so as to push up their stocks.
Pls avoid giving unrealistic price targets. It is for your own good.

Last quarter's result was just released. http://www.bursamalaysia.com/market/listed-companies/company-announcements/1817533. This month is a quiet month as most traders/investors go for their year-end holidays. Got to see how it fares in January...

This PM Corp thread has become a nobody's child. Look at the postings nowadays, hardly any. No wonder its share price is re-testing dangerous ground now.

On retrospect, credit must be given to a few forumers here that had given very candid views about the company. I salute them for their great insights. We need more of such inputs to balance out views.

In a market where market sentiments are so bad and buying is lacking, the operator could easily press it down to 'test' buying supports and collect as well.

After this market sell-down, market needs time to heal the wound(stale bull). Any rebound can be short-lived.

As far as I can recall, PM Corp has not done well on its own merits, except for last year, when there was an asset disposal. Even so, assets disposal cannot do wonders, price still drops back to current level.

I think the operator has trapped more people in this counter this morning. Up to 30.5 sen and now back to 28.5 sen.

PM Corp owns some stakes in MUI. But when MUI went up on asset disposal news, this PM Corp came down instead to current level. What a real contrast!

Seal has again broken its 200 days moving average. Based on chart, it could retest its Oct low of 74 sen on thin volumes. Any rebound, if not accompanied by an abnormal increase in volume, could be short-lived.
Just strictly based on chart-reading.

Oil was up 2% overnight in US trading. There could be a mild rebound in Bursa's O & G and ACE counters(including EA Holdings) this coming Monday. Let's wait and see if this happens...

This counter has 3 warrants in issue. There is always an incentive for the big players to push up the mother share, when the warrants(at least WB and WC) are in play.

Today, it closed at 14.5 sen, amid broad-based selling in ACE counters(including IFCA MSC Bhd). Its next support is at 14 sen, followed by 12 sen(stronger support). Its NTA per share is 14 sen(as at end of 2nd quarter 14). After these few days of selling, there should be a mild technical rebound soon. 3rd quarter's result will be out end of the month.

We must be objective. In a bull market, if prices do not go up, how can we expect them to go up when the market falls into a bearish territory?
Of course, I would agree that their downside risks are limited.

Mulpha and BJ Corp both share the same fate. Both are trading near the multi-years lows. Even with the bull market of the past 5 years, they did not perform well. Why?
1. Too many shares floating in the market. Stale bulls?
2. Syndicate or shark's deliberate attempt to hold them low?
3. Any other possible explanations? Or things that we are not aware?

EA Holdings, coming back? Chartwise, it looks good, esp with increased volume and higher closing price last Friday. Might retest overhead resistance at 16 sen this coming week.

2 possible scenarios for a share buyback:
1. Company thinks that the share price is too low;
2. No better way to invest its internal funds with a higher ROI.

Yesterday, BJ Corp went up 2 sen, but its warrant went up 3 sen instead. Ever wonder why? The reason is simple. The goreng master is actually targeting at pushing up the warrant more, instead of its mother(smoke screen only). So, the warrant becomes the main driver.
Investors will never want to buy the warrant as the conversion price is RM 1, given that the mother share is only 51 sen..

To gauge how bad our market is, one good barometer is to look at the postings on the thread "Regain capital, Chocolate Ship passengers", where all the punters used to congregate. Not a single posting in ONE month now.
Our market is short of buyers(punters & investors) now, so it is only natural that BJ Corp will drift lower..
