Friday's chart looks good with a long white candlestick(bullish sign) and a healthy trading vol(could be masked too), after the first bounce from a deeply oversold situation. It looks set to test its immediate overhead resistance at 15.5 sen, created by the last gap-down.
Ultimately, how it is going to pan out on Mon will depend on the operator's hidden game plan.
This is strictly meant as a sharing. Not a buy/sell recommendation.

I saw some of the postings here. It appears as though it is more like a fish market. Everybody has his own target price, whether realistic or not.
Frankly, it is not our target price that will determine where the price will be. To a large extent, the operator can influence our thinking via his various actions of accumulation and distribution and lead us to where he feels the right price might be, at the end of each of his game plans.
So, we need to analyse operator's action carefully, just as operator analyses our thoughts and transactions too with the aid of a computer.
Words can lie. But market data and charts do not. Trade with a plan so that we can limit our losses and enhance our gains.

Seriously I have no answer for that. You have to decide it yourself.

Do not be too happy yet. There could be some resistance at higher price levels, where more investors are trapped.

I always say "never sell shares in depressed times"(or distressed sales). If you really need to do it, wait for a better time. Now, you can decide when is the better time and the price...

As I said, the operator has been collecting at 12.5/13 sen. The more it has collected, the higher it can go.

Are you aware that our thoughts/postings are closely monitored by the operator in this open forum? Also, his runners can be everywhere...So, I do not reveal too much of my trading plan openly.

Still 13.5/14 sen. Got to see next week if the operator is still pushing higher.

Making $$$ in this market(full of sharks, operators) is not easy. We must do our homework like reading economic/financial news, share price trading patterns, etc.

Operator really likes you guys. Spontaneous at his action calls. For me, I do not chase. I only collect if deemed cheap.

There is obviously more mild play on the lower liners today after FED chair Ms Janet Yellen's dovish tone on US rate hikes this year - 2 rate hikes instead of 4, when announced in last Dec.

Apple6Splus, please do not follow me. My cost structure is different from you. It is always a good practice to preserve some additional capital for emergency use(during crunch times).
During this period of uncertainty, do top up only in tranches to bring down the holding cost, but not all at one go. For me, I will space up my buying more on the lower prices.

Still cling onto this thread when you have 0 exposure in this counter? Day in and day out, repeat the same old message as if nobody understands you. Or scared that the price does not drop to the level that you wanted?
In fact, I must thank you for making the share price falls within my investment radar screen so that I can execute my trade plan.
Take the challenge? To protect the interest of other small investors, give us your true identity and correspondence address so that whoever makes loss out of your sell call can claim damages from you since you are so dead sure about the share prices for the next 5 to 10 years.
Talk is cheap. Action counts.

Do not speak as though you are very smart in everything. To me, you are just an opportunist. Let's see how smart you are. According to you, the price will remain 5 to 10 sen if we hold this counter for another 5 to 10 years. Anybody who loses $$$ selling his/her shares because of your sell call, can go after you. I do not predict any share price.
2016-03-16 18:04 | Report Abuse
My trade plan is time tested. Anyway, 13 sen is just to test water. I reserve big chuck of resources to average down at lower price levels. So long as the company remains listed and no big losses to make it insolvent. I can always come back. I just trade alongside with the operator. Sell when I hit my profit level. Wow, I have divulged too much of my trade plan.
For those who have no confidence in this counter, please do not follow me. My method may not suit everyone of you. You have to do your own assessment based on cost factor, investment time horizon and other pertinent considerations.
One man's meat is another man's poison.

I believe that the share price could have more or less factored in the bad news. It has $8m of profit YTD this financial year to offset potential loss. And I can average up if the price drops further. For those who really want to sell, they can wait for a better time to do it.
Only you keep on condemning this counter to support the counters that you have bought in a thread that is meant specifically for Genetec Technology.
Pls go to Airasia thread to promote your counter there.

If you have absolutely no confidence in this counter, why spend your time here? What are you trying to prove? You are so good to predict the share price or what? Even the operator cannot be so sure what price this counter will be in 5 to 10 years time?
2016-03-15 16:37 | Report Abuse
Do not be so sure. Later, the operator makes you chase, like what you did in the past trading in this counter. Who knows? Nothing is absolute.
Have you been long enough in the market to witness how operators ramped up loss-making companies so high to attract punters to punt? So, it is all up to their strategy to clear stocks

Look, Comintel is turbo-charged now. See how capable the operator can be. The counter is up for not so obvious reasons. But one thing for sure. Chasing is going on.

In a quiet market, the operator just collects. Nothing much to do with sell queues or what. For all you may not know, the sell queues are just road blocks planted by the operator.
As I said, if everything is so simple and easy to see, a lot of people will not be losing $$$ in the stock market.

Today, I can see some play on penny stocks like Comintel, IFCA. See whether this is a warm up session to stir up interest in other counters as well.

The operator changes its style today. Last Friday, it was done at closing. Today, it is done at the opening. Wah, 2 variations. More to come?

When syndicates come back with a strong push, all ships(counters) will be lifted up with the wave. All we need now is just the trigger. This trigger can be just the craze of making $$$ from the punters or some positive economic news.
So, always position yourself in bad times for any upward push.

Now, we get to see close to true vol traded. Later, you will get to see only masked trading vol. If things are so easy to see in the stock market, operator will not have his days.

Insider said this coming Q report in february might loss about 5 million.
But I checked against the results. The loss was less than RM2m and the share price did not go down but instead has been trading above the gap-down price.
2 things:
1. Loss figure was lower than your quoted amount(from your insider).
2. Share price does not always go down if it is fully priced in or supported by the operator.
This time round, you also mentioned info from your insider: Genetec will lose more than 5 million next quarter. Could it be another exaggeration again?
For me, my start up cost is low. I will see how it goes. Thanks for your info anyway.
NOTE: This is my personal investment decision. Buy or sell at your risks.

Thank you. I am also learning. I do not chase. So, I feel rather safe to nibble at depressed times, given its 5 sen NTA buffer.

I do not cook this up. I read this from some analysts' reports. No need to argue. Time will tell. My argument is always based on facts, not mere guessing.

A lot of wishful thinking. But the fact is it is still trading at 12.5/13 sen. 12.5 sen support is still intact.
I follow the operator. Collect at this time when market is bad and sell when market is better. If it really goes down to 10 sen, then I can collect more. I strongly believe in $ cost averaging so long as the counter remains financially solvent.

Take a long term view when we invest in a counter during depressed times.
Oil price is definitely not sustainable at current price levels(US $30 to 45). It is a matter of time(maybe in 2017 or earlier) it will move back to US$60 per barrel or higher. And the greed side of the market psychology will set in, stirred high by the operator.
Today is T+3 day of the last gap down. So, there is some contra selling. See if ECB president Mr Draghy can come to our rescue later tonight.

Moreover, entry price also depends on our own investment horizon. As business moves through cycles, an investor with an investment horizon of 5 years or more will be able to ride through the down cycle and reap profits from a business up cycle, so long as the company remains solvent and listed.

Yes, the operator is capable of drawing his own chart, to pursue his game plans. But charts are useful if used in the correct way. At least, it can tell us the oversold and overbought situations, with the help of other indicators.
This is a marathon race. Choose a trading style that best suits our risk profiles. Ultimately, we must make our own buying and selling decisions.
