Dont worry about hengyuan's product sales. Hengyuan has a 10 year product uptake agreement with Shell for 10 years which commenced in December 2016. For the next 8.5 years, hengyuan sales department no need to do any work

I was really surprised that from the additional information (which was in the year 2016) I got, it worked out that Probability's claim that the production capacity would be reduced by 50% after the upgrade is true.

156,000 bpd is TOTAL output capacity of ALL products. Hengyuan produces lpg, gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel, fuel oil components, light naphtha, propylene etc.

1,150,000 tonnes capacity is in relation to gasoline produced by the Long Residue Catalytic Cracking Unit only. For a better understanding of the various production lines, see the 2016 Annual Report.

FYI. This Euro 4M plant upgrade is for 1 plant only. It is not the crackers or diesel plant etc. There are many levels in the production process. Each product (petrol, diesel etc) goes through a few different plants from crude oil to final product ready to be shipped out.

So this 1.15m is for Euro 4M petrol only.

Diesel is already Euro5 since 2 years ago.

as there is an inbuilt ''direct operating cost'' COP which is based on the energy & chemical consumed in the process of refining...

We are discussing implications....

to know implication effects...you need not know your absolute current status...all u need to know is the change that has taken place...

all that matters is the magnitude of change in crack spread relative to the time period where you have the performance data.

Thats all that matters.

Do not panic and sell just because share price fell a lot. The share price may rebound 50% a few days after you sell.

Many assume that if oil price goes up, profit of refineries will come down. That is not entirely true.

Oil price as a raw material is determined by demand and supply of oil price. Similarly, crack spread is also determined based on demand and supply of the final products of petrol, diesel, jet fuel, kerosene etc. 2 separate products altogether. It is not as straighforward as oil goes up, profit of refineries come down. Or oil price goes down, profit of refineries go up. There are many other external economical factors affecting each of the supplies and demands and its pricing.

Say if price of oil goes up, but severe winter leads to heavy demand for heating oil, the percentage increase in the selling price of heating oil may be higher than the pecentage increase in oil price. Crack spread will widen even when price of oil is up.

Come on, short hengyuan lah Prick. You said we are game over already. Profit at our expense lah. Hold your 2 pepperseed balls tight and make the phone call. Short hengyuan! Short hengyuan! Lai lai lai. Dont just talk. Do it Prick! Do it! Time for you to earn some money!
