First quarter 2024 results:

EPS: RM0.009 (up from RM0.006 in 1Q 2023).
Revenue: RM961.1m (up 8.5% from 1Q 2023).
Net income: RM146.1m (up 59% from 1Q 2023).
Profit margin: 15% (up from 10% in 1Q 2023).

Revenue is forecast to grow 1.7% p.a. on average during the next 3 years, compared to a 3.7% decline forecast for the Energy Services industry in Malaysia.

Over the last 3 years on average, earnings per share has fallen by 24% per year whereas the company’s share price has fallen by 28% per year.

KNM looks attractive however Mabel will pass KNM this time as Mabel would like to limit to only two speculative PN 17 counters like Sapnrg and Air Asia.

As you know KLCI currently the Worst Performing Index in our region. However, last Friday KLCI was down by 4 points and more than 500 Companies are swimming in the Red Sea. Fortunately, all Mabel’s Malaysia selection are Green with Positive P&L and has outpaced the index by 9%. Thanks to our Lady Sapura and Armada which closed green last Friday

Our KLCC kicked off FY23 on strong footing, with an improved YoY performance across all segments, particularly in the retail and hotel segment. Suria KLCC’s occupancy rate increased to 96% (2022: 92%) as four new tenants signed leases to occupy space in the shopping mall. Just like Mabel's Singapore REIT, Mabel is positive on the group’s prospects, as it is well positioned to benefit from the improving tourism sector while being supported by its stable office segment.

Today Death Cross appears in KLCC Technical Chart. So just like last week, Mabel will take the opportunity to place 2 BUY Order at RM 6.850 and RM 6.840. Target Price is between RM 7.30 - RM 7.80..

Third quarter 2023 results:
EPS: RM0.084.
Revenue: RM2.07b (up 75% from 3Q 2022).
Net income: RM223.4m (flat on 3Q 2022).
Profit margin: 11% (down from 19% in 3Q 2022). The decrease in margin was driven by higher expenses.

Today, Mabel, King of Construction Gamuda released its 3Q FY2023.

Beside this Penang South Island Projects, Gamuda is set to make greater strides in Australia, where it has just completed the acquisition of Downer Transport Projects (DTP), which was a division within the Downer Group, specialising in rail.
Gamuda remains the front-runner of Mass Rapid Transit line 3 (MRT3) largest underground package and that it plans to take it a step further by bidding for the systems package.

Revenue is forecast to grow 24% p.a. on average during the next 3 years, compared to a 15% growth forecast for the Construction industry in Malaysia. Many Research House maintain its ‘buy’ call on Gamuda, with an unchanged target price (TP) of RM5.04 per share.

Unlike Barakah, Sapura E is a bit special. It's our National Assets and Heritage.

Price of Sapura will stay between 3.5 to 4 sen until the restructuring plan is approved.

If restructuring plan not approved..

- PNB and Maybank lose money
- Sapura staff lose job
- Government can no longer get corporate tax from Sapura
- Government can no longer get Sapura employee income tax.
- Vendors lost business opportunities/projects from Sapura.
- Banks may not recovery borrow money
- White Knight not cumming..

Malaysia holds 3,600,000,000 barrels of proven oil reserves, ranking 28th in the world and accounting for about 0.2% of the world's total oil reserves of 1,650,585,140,000 barrels.

Malaysia has proven Oil reserves equivalent to 13.9 times its annual consumption. This means that, without Net Exports, there would be about 14 years of oil left (at current consumption levels and excluding unproven reserves) while the Natural Gas reserves equivalent to 38.8 times its annual consumption. This means it has about 39 years of gas left (at current consumption levels and excluding unproven reserves).

Lady Sapura owned oil and gas reserves of 264,000,000 million barrels with a gross value of RM110.8 billion.

As far as Armada is concerned at current price it's already positive in Mabel's P&L. Looking forward to see Armada crosses next resistance level of 49.5 sen. Bumi Armada was trading above 20, 50, 100 and 200 Moving Average before the shutdown. Hence, as Sifu rr88 said once the production restored to full previous capacity, it will return to sideways movement 0.60 - 0.65 for 1 to 2 months, b4 it will move up and break the recent new high above 0.70 towards 0.80 - 0.90...

New wins:

1) Award of Cameia FPSO project in Angola from TotalEnergies - This is only an EPC contract and will only sustain earnings for 2-3 years. This is NOT a long-term charter contract
2) 1 Minor FPSO contract win (either a small/medium scale FPSO 100% owned) - Active bids in Tuna field (Indonesia), Palok field (Mexico), Salam-Patawali (Malaysia)
3) 1 Major FPSO contract win (large scale FPSO, likely with a JV partner) - Unlikely to be soon as there are no known large scale bids from Bumi Armada, but possibilities exist in West Africa / South America
4) Finalization of the Mumbai Port FSRU project
5) New contract win for the 2 SC vessels in the Caspian Sea and 1 JV-owned SC vessel in Indonesia. Potential for new wins for the Caspian Sea vessels as flurry of work in the region due to high oil price environment. All 3 vessels as at 31 Dec 2022 are laid up

Green energy:

2) To repair the issues with the Kraken FPSO's HSP transformers so the FPSO can return to full operational capacity (Kraken FPSO presently only running at 50% capacity)

Contract extensions:
1) Confirmation of contract extension for Armada TGT FPSO in Vietnam - Might only be announced in Q4 2024, but it's all but certain the contract will be extended as new wells are still being drilled in the aged TGT field

Guys just find out this. If you noticed how some share prices jump erratically today?. Yesterday was a Quadruple Witching Day, Case in point, Airport got hammered almost daily and today jumped up 16 sens. Happens every quarter 4 times a year. Fund managers doing portfolio rebalancing. Hope cum Monday it will climb further.
