Full year 2024 results:
EPS: RM0.18 (down from RM0.19 in FY 2023).
Revenue: RM67.1b (up 39% from FY 2023).

Profit margin: 1.9% (down from 2.7% in FY 2023). The decrease in margin was driven by higher expenses.

Revenue exceeded analyst estimates by 7.1%. Earnings per share (EPS) also surpassed analyst estimates by 134%.

Revenue is forecast to grow 4.0% p.a. on average during the next 3 years, compared to a 7.1% growth forecast for the Industrials industry in Asia.

Over the last 3 years on average, earnings per share has increased by 8% per year but the company’s share price has only increased by 2% per year, which means it is significantly lagging earnings growth.

Disposal of AirAsia Bhd and AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd: The proposed RM6.68 billion disposal to AirAsia X (AAX) is expected to result in a pro forma gain of over RM18 billion, considering the transfer of accumulated losses in the aviation business.

Positive Net Assets: This transaction will likely turn Capital A’s net assets positive, allowing it to exit the PN17 status.

Share Distribution: Capital A shareholders will receive distributed shares of AAX, potentially increasing their investment value i.e. 400 shares of AAX for every 1k shares of Capital A.

Dividend Resumption: With improved financial health, Capital A might be able to restart dividend payments, benefiting its shareholders.

The current pullback has been contained at the 61.8% Fibonacci Retracement level. The fresh uptick in the RSI indicates that the bulls remain in control, supporting the continuation of the uptrend. We reiterate our BUY with higher TP.

As for 12th Prince Sapnrg, regardless what Court says, PNB simply cannot unload their shares at current price as they will be selling below their average cost which is more than 10X Current Price.

One more thing is the White Knight from Middle East cannot appear with “donation of 1 billion. SAP Current Market capitalisation is only RM 643 Million. White Knight can easily Buy entire SAP Market Value. However, Mabel doubt PNB will issue shares as collateral for One Billion Loan.

So Sapnrg has no choice but to go through the Debt Restructuring Plan..

The aviation debt will be transferred to the New CO and will not stay in Capital A. Cap A shareholders get AAX shares as compensation. After corporate exercise, CAP A share price will adjust to market maker’s price movement, but Mabel has received new shares from AAX.

If AAX revenue in 2025 is RM 12.4 Billion, Capital A’s gain from its 18.39% stake in AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd (AAG) based on AAX’s projected revenue of RM12.4 billion in 2025, Capital A would gain approximately RM2.28 billion from its 18.39% holding in AAG if AAX’s revenue in 2025 is RM12.4 billion from the aviation business..

Capital A will be out of PN17…

As of November 22, 2023, AirAsia X (AAX) has exited its PN17 status. Bursa Malaysia approved AAX’s application for the upliftment of its PN17 status, which took effect on that date1. This means AAX is no longer classified as a PN17 company

Bottom line Mabel will be the proud shareholders of Capital A and AAX with both companies out of PN17.
