Do not agree with the following statement from Calvin in relating to all drops in property counters:

"This was what happened to Iskandar Property Stocks when Malaysia Govt put housing restrictions for Foreign Purchase of Houses in Johore. starting from year 2014"


Property markets went on to peak on 2013 & 2014, after that, all monies run out & no fresh money to chase the new launches, property markets started to feel less chase on the whatever launches (soft, pre-registered or official).

The whole property industry players knew many properties would be completed started in 2015 onwards. By the time more supplies rolling out to market, those sellers would then realize their units not easy to sell, like what was happened in 2015 until 2018.

Since already knew what was to be in future, all property counters would be all going down.

It was nothing to do with the statement as made by Calvin, the market boom since 2010 was not because of foreigners, but all because of local Malaysians.

Good sharing, very lively and real.

To sum it all, in order to make money in stock market, you may need
1. knowledge & analytical skills (FA & may be TA)
2. business sense (understand company's product, market & industries)
3. guts (action to buy & sell)
4. targets to profit & cut loss point (know where is the destination)
5. timing to act (when to buy & sell)
6. LUCK.

FUNNY TO SAY, MANY FOLLOW HEARSAY & DEPEND HEAVILY ON LUCK.

They common like the following:
1. knowledge - no time to read & analyze
2. business sense - what is that?
3. guts - rush to buy high & fear to suffer more
4. targets - 100% return in 1 week time
5. timing to act - when every buy, buy AND when everyone sell, sell
6. LUCK - YES

Many eyes this stock and watching show

Government paid for people for not obeying rules & laws AND penalise those who offended & paid for the penalty (including me, I am too stupid to pay for the speeding fine).

All malaysians now will never want to pay for the traffic fines until they are barred from renewing their driving licenses, if there is any barring.

This savemalaysia must be gunner from Pakatan, kept publish good or normal news for Pakatan Government.

Surprisingly good results over time, if compared to other similar industry players.

Matter of time to "jump" down

Growths in revenue & profit are too slow as what expected earlier, not bad not good result.

A beautiful future prospect does not turn into figures, too competitive for such small market

To be honest, I didn't read this article in details since I do not have any interest in Steel stocks now, but I always give credit to Calvin for digging bad or dangerous stocks.

Agreed or not, at least there are different views.

Compared to his recommendation, of which I don't believe his method of choosing huge discounted traded stocks (to NTA) as these had been mostly proven value trapped stocks, HIS WARNINGS DESERVE MUCH MORE CREDITS.

Calvin Tan keep cooking this Talam this time, be watchful & careful, as most of his cooking were either overcooked, can't eat as the meat was so little but cooked with strong fires.

OR empty inside, nothing to eat, all you can see is just an overburnt empty pan.

If one can tell you where is the bottom, he is bullshitting you.

If one who is honest, will not simply tell you where is the bottom.

From average 92+ cents in the past 6 months dropped to 70+c, only insiders know what are going on.

Everyone are guessing only. ANOTHER SAD STORY AGAIN.

If you spent RM100 on each of his recommendations, surely you will make some & lose some. After all, you may lose more than x000.....

In fact, I see these PH people do not act much different from their predecessors.

The only differences are they still new to MONEY & POWER, sooner they will learn the trade very much quickly.

Tun M is organising classes to train PH people how to TALK & ACT like a minister.

But seem like many of them trying to learn from their predecessors & giving all sorts of excuses for responding slow.

I have meet Mr. and Mrs. Koon three times. In person Mr. Koon is a very friendly elder and nice to have a coffee-chit chat with if you can find a common topic (politic) to start with. But when come to his writing he is very opinionated, aggressive, egoistic and difficult to talk to. He disdain different of opinion and can be very abusive. Of cause many people are writing to him with all sorts of nice presentation or so called insightful business prospect of a particular listed companies hoping that he will buy into it and thus a win-win for both.
As a trained engineer of cause he will do his own calculation and even site visit and talking to owner/management to satisfy him that his calculation or what he saw confirmed to his Koon’s golden rules or growth catalyst that will propel the share price. When he buy into your idea he will continues buying and able to push up the share price. But as he often say he will sell some to take profit or margin call sell which he still make profit as he was buying uptrend share and will sell aggressively if the reasons for buying the share is not more there or he had found another very promising share to buy into.
So if you want Mr. Koon to be your friend and ally write to him share than confirmed to his golden rules or with growth catalyst. And remember you can forget about Calvintaneng type of deep value share as to him this is sheer waste of time as nobody know when the value can be unlock? Happy investing and getting to know Mr. Koon

Jaks similar to Berjaya Group now, you will never know what they are doing based on the financial statements.

All you need to do is assuming & guessing. Technically you are right, but lots of hidden things are not clarified,

For example, 70%:30% JV, how much influence the management of JAKS has over the business? What about cash flow management of JV? How much $$ Jaks need to pump into JV & what is the recovery rate for cost of invesment?


DK66 If someone is willing to pay 100,000 to build a house. He is to pay you 100,000 over 10 years plus interest. It only costs you 70,000 to build the house. Is the 30,000 construction profit real? Of course it is real. You will receive the profit over the next 10 years with interest.
