syndicate or no syndicate... the japanese quite smart. cashing out when ringgit is strong and company is making money. this means fundamental is actually very good for layhong. just don't know who will be taking the large block to replace NH's presence. maybe some other taiko in the shadow wanting a piece of LH growth hue hue hue
Actually you got it wrong. They wanted to exit for the sometime. They came in before covid and wanted to do downstream manufacturing under NHF Manufacturing for value-added japanese products but ended up loss making due to COVID and early this year Layhong took over 100% of this subsidiary. They have been selling down their shares down all this while, u can check the announcements earlier. Now they are completely out.
ya la.... if you know loss making would you have cut it right away? still need to weighed in from currency valuation to breakeven or straightened loss properly. now they are out maybe with profit also if some of the blocks were traded from the time they started selling.
by far one thing you get it right that is they are the only substantial seller in this stock. so no others has been selling or has that pressure to cause such a steep price decline. interesting to see the highs lifting off soon
parking now for the dividend is the best. i dont think any foreign company would want to address foreign exchange issues when Iran vs Israel is on the background punching. so might explain why they took off leaving a bit crumbs on the table. anyhow japanese.... what can you expect haha
The impact on egg producer is alike last year chicken producer ending subsidy, stock like CAB earning decrease significantly after chicken subsidy ended
The major impact after ending gov subsidy will increase egg market competition, as egg producer cannot rely on subsidy as profit. Egg producer will force to launch price war to protect their market share
What producers want is to let the price float and based on previous article in the news that price will go up about 3 cents for eggs. Some say these companies are reliant on subsidies. In order to get everyone to agree to sell at the current low egg prices, govt has to give them subsidies and this is done to reduce inflation.
When they took away subsidies for chicken and increased the ceiling price by RM1 to rm9.4, LHI profits more than doubled. Cant comment on CAB as they are not market leader or most efficient player. If you check chicken prices have come down from Nov last year which was the peak but you have to take note of a few things. 1) this is avg price we are talking about. if your product premium, u sell higher and earn higher margins 2) raw material is in their favor so the other players could be selling lower as margins
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
