fyi, the key managers appointed to go into the oil palm venture are from Hup Lee, so are Dato' Liu's people.
Dato' also has 17 years of experience in plantation business, so I think I can sleep well with this investment.

I like HM going into oil palm. It hired experienced managers, a PhD scientist, and a team of workers to do the job.
1300 acres for 21mil was a good deal as the valuation was 30mil. Besides oil palm, the land has 45 acres of durians, maturing in 2026.

Yes.....but one thing: its PA costed 1 sen only and can be converted to mother by paying another 3sen, so 4sen and now 13-13.5 sen, ie. more than 300%. So original holders of PA may be converting soon to take profit and so drive down the price? Still about 1 billion PA not converted, so be careful!!

Generally I go through broker for conversion. If can do online in future, will be more convenient but don't know if MBL will make this option available or not.

If plan on selling soon, I think it makes sense for a holder of free warrants to do the conversion first if he has the money. The mother has been very close to warrant price+ 0.75, and fluctuating. Then may be able to sell for more than warrant price+ 0.75 and so get more than selling off his warrants directly. If not, can still take consolation in supporting Ptrans and be benefitted as a shareholder later :)

Would like to add an obvious point: ppl converting warrants to mothers is a good thing because the company gets the conversion fees which I trust the directors will put to good use.

We are seeing ppl are starting to convert warrant to mother and this may explain the southward movements....But will be northward once the tower business kick in? In any case, am keeping my trust in the company since 2020!
