@Lanmum I can comment on Ta Ann vs WTK because I have a fellow investing friend who likes WTK.

I prefer to invest based on actual numbers.
My friend prefers to invest based on expected numbers.

I prefer to invest in companies that already shown profits.
My friend prefers to invest based on expectation of future profits.

I only invest in companies that pays dividends that at least matches FD rates.
My friend prefers aiming for super price growth.

Yea, with super blue chip stocks like PPB, you are practically relying on it to beat/match inflation

I use a portfolio approach to equity investment whereby currently I hold 8-11 different stocks. Anything below 5 is crazy to me, I started with 5 stocks years ago.
