How should a good stock behave? Ideally one that has response to the market but not overly sensitive. One that play to the yield of 8% at least at nett.......now take Trops for example they did a 50cents sprint hike but depress for the rest of last year 6 mths till December and 9 mths to date.....so to re phrase my question akin to a football team......

The football team has the best players in all position from forward to defender, they pay top bucks for the players and they have been on target for the goal scoring. They score and score and got goal margins which is fantastic. This is all good if they remember to coordinate with their defenders on counter attack. Even though their defenders may be good, they cannot defend when they are at the wrong position.......this is exacly what's happening here......they defend on the gearing to reduce it but they forgot the big picture in the game is to win with goals while prohibiting the opponent to score whilst keeping the pride ie value. They have achieved goal, defended gearing but failed on their pride.....and that pride is their new branding.....

Trops is truly a chinaman company.....profit profit profit......not much life going into the soul.......where is the investor relation?.....this can sometime be viewed as shiok sendiri......they know they are good, the results show they are good, BUT the investors think otherwise with the share price depression......

Trops has everything at this point....from PNL top line to bottom line......lined up JV ready, Landbank hedge ready, gearing reduced to 0.55 ( target 0.5 by mid 2014), Berjaya asset in, latest RCUL released, increased valuation in ready property like PWC, Danga bay,....

Actually I have already given my answer why it's has not move........another catalyst that will spur it all the way is disposing appreciated asset yielding at 8% annually.....can u imagine.......but looks like strong negotiator not in place and poor indentification of buyer partner may not create the catalyst fast enough.......
