Following the successful completion and achievement of commercial operations date for the 50MW solar photovoltaic project under the Large-Scale Solar (“LSS”) 4 Programme in August 2023, the Power-Energy division commenced its businessoperations of generation and delivery of renewable energy to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (“TNB”) under the Power Purchase Agreement with TNB.

Palm oil future drop a lot today.
JAKARTA (June 4): Palm oil posted the biggest intraday drop in nearly a year, tracking recent falls in soybean oil and crude petroleum oil, which have made the tropical oil less attractive for use in biofuels.

Prices in Kuala Lumpur fell 3.8% to RM3,920 a tonne on Tuesday, the deepest intraday drop since late June last year, erasing most of the gains that palm made last week. Trading resumed after a holiday in Malaysia on Monday.

Outlook. On April 25, FPSO Kraken will transition to an extension contract as its firm charter with Enquest concludes, resulting in a lower recurring earnings base from this asset. FPSO Sterling 5 is still awaiting the final acceptance from the client, so the asset remains on a standby rate, which is lower than the full contract rate. Its RM1.5b sukuk maturing in Sep 2024 will likely to be refinanced with an USD400m facility of which the rate is yet to be determined

The Group is currently engaging in discussion with lenders at different stages for debt and equity fundraising, with an estimated amount of RM3 billion. As at the date of this report, the Group has received commitment from investors for a Revenue Bond Program of up to USD365 million (equivalent to RM1.68 billion)
The Revenue Bond program entails the conversion of outstanding lease payments of USD240 million (approximately RM1.1 billion) into bond (Tranche 1) and cash inflow of approximately USD125 million (approximately RM575 million) (Tranche 2) to finance working capital, maintenance cost and lease rentals. The revenue bond will be secured against passenger seat sales from identified routes and shares in a subsidiary. Tranche 1 of the Revenue Bond has a tenure of 2.5 years whereas Tranche 2 has tenure of 4 years. The bond is expected to be issued by mid of 2024.
