Please allow me to be a FA guru for a moment:
A production and operation FPSO PAT margin is abt 34%.
The main cost for a production operation FPSO is finance cost and depreciation cost
Finance cost is tax deductable and depreciation cost is cash flow to pare down borrowings.

So which one is good or bad investment?

So far i3lurker only recommended 2 stocks.
Gdex when Philip recommend Star to challenge him. I actually bought Star and win my usual free bintang beer and lobster.
The second time is SCIB I bought at 37 and most likely need to average down to 28 and sell at 30 to win my usual free bintang beer and lobster.

Insas' cash of billion and 515,008,575 inari shares good or bad assets?
Why
Why Private Placement investors pay RM 1,032,300,000 for 333,000,000 inari shares but ignored Insas?

Brazilian state-owned energy giant Petrobras has expanded its floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) fleet off the coast of Brazil with the arrival of a new unit, according to Yinson Production, a subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur-based energy infrastructure and technology company Yinson Holdings.
Following a three-month voyage, the FPSO Maria Quitéria arrived on August 10 at the Jubarte field, in the Campos Basin’s pre-salt layer, off Espírito Santo’s coast. This field, together with Baleia Anã, Cachalote, Caxaréu, Pirambú, and Mangangá fields, forms the Parque das Baleias integrated project.
The FPSO Maria Quitéria was initially expected to come online in 2025 before Petrobras advanced the start-up timeline to put the vessel into operation in the last quarter of 2024 at the Jubarte field, which lies at a water depth of approximately 1,300 meters in the northern Campos Basin, around 80 kilometers off the coast of Anchieta, Espírito Santo, Brazil

Connections completed for FPSO Atlanta's 1st oil
Rio de Janeiro, July 30, 2024
Enauta Participações S.A. informs that all subsea system and lines connections with the FPSO Atlanta for first oil have been completed. Ongoing activities currently include mandatory adaptations byregulatory
agencies, final testing, and commissioning, which will conclude the operational activities scheduled to start production on the new platform, pending the issuance of environmental operating license and
authorization from Brazil’s National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP).
The implementation of Atlanta’s Definitive System has remained in line with established timeline when the project investment was sanctioned in February 2022. The illustration below presents the project’s main
delivery and execution milestones throughout 2023 and 2024. In the coming weeks, the installation campaign for the second multiphase pumping module and the connection of additional wells will commence, which will enhance FPSO Atlanta's production as planned

AAX had proposed to acquire the aviation business for RM6.8 billion. It planned to issue new shares worth RM3 billion — 2.31 billion shares at RM1.30 each — to acquire AAAGL. As for AAB, AAX proposed to acquire it for RM3.8 billion, to be satisfied by assuming RM3.8 billion of some RM3.83 billion worth of debt that Capital A owed AAB.
So with AAAGL debts/liabilities to AAX and CapA RM 3.8 billion debts/liabilities to AAX. Then capA will be debts free and out of PN17.
The only problem is AAX will fall into PN17 by all the debts/liabilities tranfered from capA to AAX.
Hence will Bursa SC approve such deal?

Question
63. News reported that China's petrochemical capacity is poised to see considerable growth, due to refinery switching to produce more petrochemical products than fuels. The local demand cannot absorb this capacity and will lead to export. Will this cause big threats to our company?
What are PCG's competitive advantages if compared to Chinese players? Do PCG have cheaper feedstock costs?
Answer:
China's self-sufficiency policy is indeed causing overcapacity in the market. We expect China to continue its capacity build-up in 2024 until later this decade. While we may expect increased competition, there are selected chemicals and related products that China, as well as other countries in the region, will continue to demand.
PCG’s competitive advantage includes our fully integrated facilities with secure feedstock supply. We have a large and diversified portfolio with close proximity to growth markets that will enable us to continue to serve the Southeast Asian markets.
68. The commissioning of our petrochemical plants at the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) is still ongoing (page 18)
i. What is the total amount invested in Pengerang PetroChemical Plants?
ii. Normally how long does it take for these plants to break even?
iii. What are the expected additional depreciation charges when these plants commence operation?
Answer:
i. The PIC project is financed from external project financing facilities as well as investment by the shareholders via equity and loans.
ii. PIC is expected to provide material contribution to PCG’s future earnings, upon Commercial Operation Date (COD) subject to market conditions and gradual ramp up of plant operating rates.
iii. Upon COD, PIC will be depreciated
69. Any solution from PIC (Pengerang Integrated Complex) to handle the poor margin spread of naphtha feedstock-ethylene derivative?
Answer:
Utilising liquid feedstock is a strategic decision to reduce our dependency on gas while allowing us to grow and provide us the opportunity to produce other products that are otherwise not available
with gas-based plants.
This includes feedstock such as butadiene for our new joint venture project to produce Nitrile Butadiene Latex (NBL) and raffinate for our Isononanol plant in Pengerang, Johor.
Molecules made available from the naphtha cracker will allow us to produce high value derivatives and expand further downstream, whilst pursuing our specialty chemicals agenda. The fluctuation of margin between gas-based and naphtha-based products also provides us with earnings stability.
