The world has changed and with easy access to information and you are now competing with fund managers, sharks, billis, even with cumputer programe trading software and maybe AI in the near future.
So the only rule now that still valid is you can't afford to lose 50% of your capital. Set your cut lose level and also minitor your winners are the micro and macro conditions going to against it, then you better take profit before your paper gain become paper lose.
You can always keep cash and wait for the strom to blow over before reinvest again.

If the entire (cooked) length of instant noodles sold around the world in a single year were laid out in a line, the resulting 6.2bn kilometre giga-noodle would stretch well beyond Pluto and into the depths of space. It is a fact as miserable as it is marvellous.
Instant noodles sit among the most potent weapons ever devised in the unending struggle against starvation: a product that towers, among processed foods, at the extreme value end of the cost-per-calorie scale and which its makers now proudly classify as a piece of “social infrastructure"
This ready-to-eat grub, pioneered in the late 1950s to feed a ruined Japan in the protracted aftermath of war, takes the prize for being cheap and fast, but delicious.
And yet, precisely because of those qualities, the rising demand for instant noodles can look a lot like a societal and economic red flag — a signal, especially in developed countries, that something has broken or is at least under severe strain. They are an index of the primacy of need over greed in straitened times.
On one hand, if you can suspend judgment on the health risks associated with high-salt, ultra-processed foods, as most instant noodles are, there is something to celebrate in the relentless en-noodlement of the global diet. Particularly so for two Japanese companies, Toyo Suisan and Nissin Foods (whose founder invented the product), which have significant positions in a global market that analysts estimate to be worth north of $54bn.
In 2022, according to the World Instant Noodles Association, humanity collectively bought a record 121bn servings of instant noodles — some 17 per cent more than in 2018. In countries as diverse as Nigeria, Bangladesh and Turkey, the surge has been far more acute, with increases ranging from 53 per cent to 425 per cent. That represents instant noodles doing their thing: rising from the shelves to provide affordable and durable calories to inflation-hit masses.

I am also suprised why AAX did not get any debts restructure award of the year for paying 0.5 cent for every dollar owed.
Hopefully capA will get an award of the year for the most innovative and ceative way to get capA out of PN17.
Capitalize capA future earning by listing CAPI in US and then tranfer all the debts in aviation to AAX (under pretence of consolidate all airasia aviation busineses to AAX)

3iii is very lucky to be born at the right time, right place and with right parent thus can have spare money to accumulate all those blue chip companies long ago at a very low cost to him.
Me a bit unlucky, had to work very hard to raise a family and take care of parent then. Only in recent year have some spare money to invest and thus must be very alert/careful when and what to buy and when to sell our holding. (To people like 3iii we are just trader and not an investor)

Untill then Insas cannot do SBB.

For upstream plantation it is very difficult to increase your planting areas because of RSPO and MSPO requirement. The only way to increase production is by better plantation management to increase FFB production per hectare.
Jayatiasa plantation earning will depend of FFB production and CPO price. You can get this available monthly data and estimate the quarterly result.
As of timber you can also keep tap on the monthly production and monthly timber price.
If you are looking for growth stocks then you can look into Yinson.

Mike-tikus only know how to cut and paste.
I bet he not even know what is TTM and how to use TTM?
Trailing 12-month, or TTM, refers to the past 12 consecutive months of a company’s performance data used for reporting financial figures.
By consistently evaluating trailing 12-month numbers, company financials can be evaluated both internally and externally without regard for the artificiality of fiscal year-end.
TTM allows for a like comparison of a company's performance trajectory that smooths away any inconsistencies.
TTM for Financial Reporting
Companies conducting internal corporate financial planning and analysis have access to detailed and very recent financial data. They use the TTM format to evaluate key performance indicators (KPI), revenue growth, margins, working capital management, and other metrics that may vary seasonally or show temporary volatility.
