Biological assets (contd.)
(b) Planted forest (forestry assets)
The harvestable volume of planted forest was assessed by an independent specialist and the directors performed the valuation based on this key input during the financial year. The following assumptions were used in the said valuation.
(i) The net selling price, which is defined as the selling price less the costs of transport and harvesting (“cost to sell”). The net selling price is based on management estimates and is influenced by the species, maturity profile and location of timber.
(ii) Mature plantation is estimated to have a harvestable yield of 80 cubic metre per ha whilst for
immature plantation, a harvestable yield of 20 cubic metre per ha is assumed.
(iii) The total harvestable area is estimated based on satellite imagery performed by the independent specialist and supported with sample counts in specific area performed by the management.
(iv) It is assumed that the harvested timber will be sold locally. The export of planted timber extracted from reforested plantation is currently suspended by the Government of Sarawak until further notice. In addition, the Group has not obtained the license to harvest the reforested plantation
These are the assumption in arriving at the fair value of planted forest biological assets

Aiyoyo Mike-tikus can't read financial report, cut and paste financial data from pasar malam source without understand it, his pasar malam TA told him jaks 18 floor is ground floor and he bought from 18 to 24 and trapped himself high high and need to go every forum to promote jaks with his half past six facts and figures 24/7/365 non stop for a year and half now to no avail.

Do I need to know everything before I invest or just know the important thing (financial data) and products price trend to make my judgment that this year profit/dividend/cash flow/balance sheet will be better then the last year to put my money on the stock?
Repost:
3iii should I be bother to calculate a lease- adjusted ROCE?
Or should I just look at Balance sheet (net cash), cash flow, dividend yield and monitor monthly FFB production and CPO price trend to put my money in Jayatiasa?
