Ha ha....this is NOT a liquidation or winding-up exercise....this is just a case of privatising a PLC into Sdn Bhd...the company still exist as an entity. Wonder...how would it affects the plaintiff?

If a company that has the following characteristics:
1) low and depressed market price for its shares
2) high NTA as compared to share price
3) good operating cash flows
4) great streams of major projects that will continue to contribute substantially in future
5) intentional non declarations of dividends for long period of time
6) a group of commentators that continue to wallop the company irrespective of the company is performing well in the hope to depress the share price
7) bank loan financing is still abundantly available to company and this proved its credit worthiness
8) ability to sign up and win bids for new projects
With these 8 characteristics, it can only suggest that this company is a ripe candidate to be privatised.
Huat ah! to those believers that continue to have faith!

As part of LSS5 bidding conditions, it clearly stated that it is compulsory that Malaysian + Bumiputra condition must be MET. I guess MK Land will be one of the bidders that qualifies and fulfill these conditions and hence would be considered more favourably in the bidding process.

"Sedikit sedikit lama lama jadi bukit"......don't under estimate these kacang putih contractssssss.....if you add up, the numbers will be humongous!....especially those e-invoice projects & contracts.
For those who have lost faith....do find another counter that can match your expectation. No point spill your negativity in this wonderful journey ahead of all those hopeful investors that have full confident as well as faith for the Censof management to deliver the results.

Very eager to see next quarter results announcement to assess the positive financial impact of e-invoice on this company. Deadline for >100m companies turnover is 1 August 2024 and if it is positive financially, you can imagine the masses of companies <100m turnover will have on this company in the next few quarters and for sure e-invoice is here to stay.

Jaks reported a fairly decent results and can only improve in near future once their solar energy projects grows bigger and bigger. Couple with an improving construction industry…..I can only conclude that it is a rare gem to be discovered 😎

Look...... 48 sen loss per share is NOT a token sum and definitely it warrants very careful assessment and even professional legal advice before such drastic decision was made. Have the Board/Management done so?
Where is their fiduciary duties that they owed to all shareholders and investors?
What was the motive behind to hastily provide on everything that on the flip side, they confirmed is ACT OF GOD and escape financial liability under FORCE MAJEURE clause? If that is the case...why provide in the first place?
Effectively, this announcement had mislead all investors that thought the company is in deep trouble!
Perhaps Bursa need to take a closer look at this announcement made!

I see it slightly differently.
The proforma NTA after the Sale is RM2.74 per share but this is based on 30 April 2021 audited NTA of 99 sen. The latest NTA @ 31 January 2022 was RM1.04. If we assume the Q4 EPS is another 3 sen....then effectively there is another 8 sen that needs to be accounted for. Therefore, the adjusted NTA shall be RM2.82. Bear in mind that this proposal takes 9 months to complete and am sure more EPS will be earned,
At current price @2.30, I will load even more as I will get back 2.21 as cash dividend and still have my shares intact and therefore my cost is only 9 sen going forward. As this is a cash company, I hope that the company can secure a good viable business in future and if they can't secure one, I am sure a clean PLC is worth for other business to do a back door listing. Bear in mind that the adjusted balance cash per share after the dividend payment could easily be more than 60 sen in 9 months time. It's definitely a GOOD deal to me.

From BPlant latest annual report, it shows that it has 98,212 hectares of land. Going by the latest sale of land to YTL @ RM645,833 per hectare with an historical net book value of just RM93,527 per hectare......it point to a huge unrealised revaluation gain of those land that remains unsold in the Company.
On the assumption that even if we recognised that not all lands held deserve a huge valuation, a simple simulation of just 15% value of what was sold recently or @RM96,875 per hectare, the potential valuation surplus stands at RM2.57 per share and if we are to deduct all borrowings, the net cash per share stands at RM2.01.
This couple with the all time high of CPO price which will yield better earnings and dividends in the coming quarters.
I am not at all surprise by lots of people queueing to buy into future success! This counter deserved to be rerated upwards!

The sum of all investment that Fintec invested and holding now is still way above the current Market Capitalisation of Fintec.
Meaning....it's a value buy at this price for Fintec

I was told that the Fintec glove factory at Chemor is being built right now. Whilst the AT Glove factory is already operating. So looks like good days are coming very soon.
Looking at Covid 19 situation worldwide, it will take more than 2 years to subside and therefore, demand for gloves will always be there.

Can someone explain to me ....for all these counters mentioned, why do private placements, why ESOSs, why rights issue and after that gain nothing from all these corporate exercises, if the price goes sideway or downwards. So a sane "conclusion" is that only if price moves up....all the above corporate exercise will make sense....that's why they are so confident to put their own money in it.

Since Fintec do not know what to do with their investments.....why not consider distributing all these investments back to all its shareholders....in specie or FOC...as dividend.
Today, distribute Focus shares, tomorrow AT shares, the day after Saudee shares and Komark shares on the fourth day. By fifth day, I am pretty sure Fintec price will be 5X easily....and all stakeholders would be laughing to the bank.

With the government imposing rocket science in its rationalisation of various subsidies, obviously, these cannot be done without help of massive Information Technology system. Am sure all IT companies will have a share in these lucrative IT solutions in months to come.
