Quite disappointed with no dividend again. I was not hopping for big dividends given by other glove companies but to give small to reward us who are planning to keep for long term.

New customer man, good job everyone holding. The last article was only buying land for victory but now seem Victory and customer Y. Another 3 potential customer but they cannot do their business due to no capacity. How good is that, probably other EMS players will get this 3 customers that VS cant take in.

tbh, i dont undestand how MYEG can afford to buyback so much.. Their cash is around 20 cent but they buy back 4% of shares already. They take loan to buy shares?
The company should have made profit from the shares they bought back at earlier price..

I can give you an example where share price when up in short term. KAB, when they had private placement of 20% of total share for bumi directors so they can transfer to Main board. Price of pp was 0.18 cents in Oct 2019. Price went up to RM2+ before March 2020.

"The COVID-19 pandemic and low oil price environment initially slowed down M&A activity globally in the first half of the year. However, with the ramp-up of economic activity globally, the outlook for the oil and gas sector is also improving. In addition, a focus on developing opportunities in the renewable energy space has caused established E&P players, particularly those headquartered in Europe to assess their portfolios and restart their oil and gas asset divestment programs," Hibiscus said.
Hibiscus is not new to Europe, as it is a partner in the Anasuria Cluster of offshore oil fields in the UK North Sea, 175 km east of Aberdeen, UK North Sea. It also owns a stake in Marigold and Sunflower fields in the North Sea. Hibiscus expects to get the approval for Field Development Plan for the Marigold development by the end of 2020.
Worth noting, while mentioning European players and their assets, Hibiscus' targeted acquisitions are not necessarily only focused on Europe.
Kuala Lumpur-based Hibiscus Petroleum said it would prioritize assets with strong production potential coupled with cost optimization opportunities "and remains committed to growing its business in its areas of geographic focus, particularly South East Asia."
Managing Director, Dr. Kenneth Pereira, said: “The Group has previously reiterated that it is positioning itself to acquire good-value, high-quality producing assets in our areas of geographic focus. With asset values dampened due to the current oil market, we see this period as an opportunity to add to our portfolio of producing assets."

Actually if you are long term holder is a very good opportunity and good return.
Parameters Producing assets
Payback period(i) ≤ 5 years
IRR(ii) ≥ 12%
Their internal rate of return is above 12% and short payback of 5 years. If got i got so much extra money, i wont mind buying also. But what i dont understand is this if for South East Asia producing assets, last few days they said they been offered 3 blocks in UK.
Does that means they plan to skip the UK 3 blocks or they plan to take on debt if they want to purchase those mature producing assets. 3 mature assets is good deals since close by to Anasuria FPSO.

“As a forward step for the remaining period of the calendar year 2020, the group has locked in future sales of 750,000 bbls at an average price of US$35 per bbl at North Sabah,” it added.
Sabah side not going to earn according to actual market rate... Seems like bad deal, need to hope Anasuria can earn more to cover.
2020-08-22 20:51 | Report Abuse
Dont forget Hibiscus signed agreement with Trafigura, it has also taken the opportunity to lock-in the sales price for a substantial portion of its North Sabah production over the CY2020 period. In a separate statement, Hibiscus explained that the "locked-in" North Sabah sale was for 750,000 bbls at an average price of USD 35/bbl.
On average 1 offtake is 150k bbls, so they need to sell 5 offtakes at USD 35. In 3 months they sell around 2 offtakes from North Sabah. Next 2 QR going to be bad unless they managed to renegotiate the price. They might get better price for their Anasuria oil but that is normally around 1 offtake only. 2/3 is in North Sabah, unless you keeping Hibiscus for long term and oil price is high in next year.

Rubber Gloves
HL Rubber Industries Sdn. Bhd. (“HLRI”) is principally engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of rubber gloves. Rubber gloves segment delivered revenue of RM17.287 million, decrease of 20.53% as compared to RM21.752 million in preceding year quarter. The lower revenue was mainly due
to the decrease in sales volumes for the current quarter. Export sales contributed 88.14% of the total revenue of rubber gloves segment. The export market mainly consists of Taiwan, Japan and United States of America.
The rubber gloves segment recorded a gross loss of RM1.259 million with gross loss margin 7.28% as compared to a gross profit of RM0.675 million with gross profit margin of 3.10% in the preceding year quarter. The rubber gloves segment recorded loss before taxation of RM1.272 million as compared to a loss before taxation of RM0.385 million in the preceding year quarter. The loss was mainly due to HLRI clearing of the old stock at the discounted price in the current quarter under review. This is to facilitate the production flow to run full capacity due to overwhelming demand of gloves from our customers during this COVID-19 pandemic.
