From 1 April until now Insas has not reported any disposal of Inari shares. If Insas doesn't sell some Inari shares by end of June the next QR will most probably show a loss. What would happen to Insas share price if they announce a loss for quarter ending 30 June?

If Surin senses that he will not get the 75% acceptance he might revise upwards the offer price but this need to be done BEFORE the EGM convened to vote for the SCR.

SCR offer price can be revised, that's why I say you minorites need to group together and appoint your spokesman and engage Surin.

SCR is different from MGO. Market price in a SCR will not go above offer price because if SCR succeeds then the Company is privatized and delisted. In a MGO the offerer may choose to retain listing.

Do note that in a SCR if 75% accept the offer of RM1.70 then all of the minority shareholders' shares are automatically acquired. Means you vote No also you lose your shares at RM1.70 UNLESS 10% voted No.

@MrSslee, there's interesting development at MPHBCap where Surin attempts to privatize the Company via SCR which requires 75% acceptance and not more than 10% opposing.

Dear John, if you want to fight for a higher price, then form a group of shareholders to act as one voice to negotiate with Surin. If you can gather a group of shareholders with 44 million shares then collectively this group of shareholders can make or break the offer.

Dear John, a SCR requires 75% acceptance and not more than 10% opposing. If 10% of the minorites oppose the SCR then it is off. So the chance of a higher revised offer is possible.

Insas has cash over RM1,000,000,000. Microlink loss RM25,000,000 no worries. If Insas sells 7.5 million Inari shares at RM3.40 already more than RM25 million in sales proceeds. Insas selling at 80% discount, hurry and buy.

Don't get trapped in Insas.

Investing in Insas shares is as safe as putting money in FD in a bank. Insas has over RM1,000,000,000 cash and over 500,000,000 Inari shares, cannot go bankrupt one. Last month I bought Insas at 1.03 and this week I sold at 1.11 giving a 7% gain in one month. You put money in FD one year interest also cannot get 7%.

Yesterday Insas at 1.08 was selling at 80% discount. Today at the end of the day Insas at 1.04 with Inari closing 0.21 up, is selling at 85% discount. Insas getting cheaper, don't forget to buy next Monday.
