Gamuda is a big-cap construction company. They need mega/big projects with a value above RM1 bil to sustain. Local market doesn't have big projects for them and they won't be competitive enough to compete with small to mid-cap players to get jobs below RM1 bil.

JV 60:40... Gamuda portion is about RM870 mil. Divided into 8 yrs, revenue p.a is about RM108 mil. Hopefully, they're able to make money from this project.

The design and construction of the Defu station and tunnels have been awarded to Gamuda Berhad Singapore Branch - Wai Fong Construction Pte Ltd Joint Venture. Gamuda Berhad is currently constructing the Gali Batu Bus Depot, while Wai Fong Construction is building two stations on the Jurong Region Line (#JRL).

Let the price continue to consolidate 1st, RM1.20-1.22 should be the ideal price to re-enter.

Technical turning bearish, it is time to sell and let go. Too bad!

The chart positive trend is still intact. Need to monitor for another 2-3 days to confirm trend reversal.

At least acquiring Johnson Medical is a good move in diversifying the business into healthcare. At least for the next 5 yrs, the business-centric will be on healthcare.

Not 100% confirm but a friend of mine said they failed to comply with the strict T&C on GMP imposed by Cansino. Similar case like Doupharma, which they secured Sinopharm due to the existing co. failed to comply with the T&C. Better be safe than sorry due to the uncertainties....

KJ already announced for commercial use. For the future of private/commercial use, those with fill & bottling facilities hold the most advantage like Pharmaniaga n Solution. Another plus point for CanSino is a single dose jab. Imagine after the end of PICK, demands for booster dose and for industrial, manufacturing n plantation with mils of foreign workers. At that time, there will be no large scale of vaccination n to import vaccine like Pfizer/AZ will post challenge due to storage, shelf live n volume of scale.

Only SSM approved Vivocom changed to Vinvest. Documents need to be submitted to Bursa to process, it will take some time for the name to be reflected as Vinvest Capital

There are plenty of reasons for it but I do not have a direct answer to your question. As you have said, as an investor, you're putting in money for investing for the future of the company which rewards you in terms of its share price appreciation. No doubt the share market is full with speculative activities, buying or selling is your choice.

As per the terms in the HOA, the Hedge Fund will purchase/subscribe to Vivocom share in tranches no more than 9% and to a maximum value of RM1.4 bil. This means they will subscribe as the share price go HIGHER in tandem with the business growth, M&A and etc. (within 18 months). Apart from the HOA, no rule is stopping them from buying in the open market (probably been buying these few days).

They’re hedge funds and can be administering funds on behalf of some big investors to buy into Vivocom. Question is their present is for short, medium or long term?

Should buy and hold instead of contra. To unlock value of these companies going to take some times.

Not sure the price will lower or not as it’s hard to gauge the price movement. The uptrend is just to short-lived but I might be wrong.
