11 years ago BAHVEST did apply a RM 20M loan from KFH for their fishery business. Fish farm in Sandakan & Lahat Datu, the ikan Kerapu after growing for 11 month is exported to Hong Kong back then. The 'sea chicken' taste good. They have good business model, clean management back then and Tabung Haji was one of their shareholder those days. Not sure about now.

They're in good spirit. Impressive video currently shown in the AGM. I'll support this company for long term strategic investment, if oil price goes up or if they strike oil. Anyway I'll support locally Malaysian international company but that's just me. Wooo ...

I remember RHB group mentioning CMSB is a good run company. However if they stop or post-pone the Pan Borneo project, the income projection will be effected I guess.

I was there at the AGM. Questioning started with complaint on AGM food etc., noticed top management are mostly run by foreigners. Regardless of their origin as long as they run the company well and provide good growth and dividend to the shareholders.
It's common when oil price is down O&G co. cuts it CAPEX (very few corporation were prepared for the 'worse case' scenario of a deflated oil price), was asking on what if the current oil price shoots up, are they prepared to take advantage and have all their strategy in place. If you only start to market and find financing to bid project like the rest, it would be a tough crowd to follow.
They seem to know what they are doing & YAM Tunku Ali as chairman seems to control the crowd quite well. They was rumoured that the AK wanted to sell BumiArmada, it seems now it's more like an international company but based in Malaysia. Having little project in Malaysia with most income deriving from overseas, Angola problem reminds me of Petronas problem in Sudan when they split once ~ a headache mention by Tan Sri Shamsul Azhar when he was Hancho for Petronas during a raya gathering many years ago.
Some economist are predicting a global economic winter season. If it happens, I was wondering how Armada would fare. I am just afraid it is the calm before the storm.

At one time BIMB (owner of Bank Islam) has more liabilities than assets but the major shareholder is Lembaga Tabung Haji, need I tell you what happen next. Either way I personally support the company owned by Tabung Haji.

Personal opinion (I could be wrong), any company backed by TH (Tabung Haji) or PNB/MOF will be supported and help either by the government, GLC ie: Petronas etc., due to low oil price a lot of companies are affected but todays news on court ruling for them to nego. on debt does give them a better position to survive. If you have extra cash and can effort to risk, high risk high return. It is cheap now?
