The sensitivity analysis of foreign exchange risks as shown in its latest annual report, MKH says if USD weakens against IDR by 5%, the PBT is to increase by RM12 million and vice-versa.

While others are affected, MKH says its own estates expect minimal El Nino impact as it is located at the equuator with adequate rain fall and good network of canals for irrigation.

2016 plantation outlook for MKH.
- tightening output in the market due to dry weather associated with El Nino
- CPO price to be trading up
- higher output by MKH due to young trees and more trees come into maturity
- USD borrowing being liquidated and softening of USD (likely after Fed lifts its rate)

Plantation, aside from the non-cash forex losses, performed remarkably well. CPO yield is 7 to 8 tonnes/ha, throwing behind many established plantation companies. Look at the increase in CPO sales from 76.6k tonnes to 108.9k tonnes. This is poised to increase further with more trees coming into maturity. Average selling price of CPO was less than RM2,000 a ton in FY2015. Big impact on earnings if CPO price average RM2,300 next year.

This company is undervalued.
Market value reflects the plantation segment only 1.1 b / 15000 ha = 73 per ha
Property is bonus yet it is the largest profit contributor.
Watch out for MRT Line 2 re-alignment. The company has 13 acres land in Serdang .. a big boost.
Dividend yield 3.5% to 4%.

Cash churned out from operations a year may amount up to 300 mil. If nothing significant is spent, the company is capable of settling all debts within 2 to 3 years. But then no good if no leverage.

lcng123 .. may be composition of the USD assets and liabilities is different now .. better hedged.
Remember in the annual report it said .. started to export CPO in USD. If this is confirmed .. lower volatility of forex is a great news. Can concentrate on the core profits.

Great! 7sen for q1.
Eps full year 35 to 40 sen.
Strong operating cash flow .. 1q is more than enough to pay 15sen dividend.
Mkh started to invest in fixed income funds .. it shows more free cash now.
All divisions show improved operating results.

Plantation margin should be higher than property development but lower than property investment. Forex set aside.

MKH is expecting 360 MT of FFB in FY2015.
At OER of 22% and average CPO of RM2,200, plantation could bring EPS of 18 to 20 cents.
Property in the past showed it could bring EPS 20 cents.
Total EPS 40 cents with
PE 8 _ Price RM3.20
PE 9 _ Price RM3.60
PE 10 _ Price RM4.00
