Nexgram, Protasco: To partner for RM400m Cyberjaya project. Nexgram Holdings is set to make its foray into property development by partnering Protasco for an estimated RM400m proposed mixed development project in Cyberjaya. A source familiar with the proposed development said that the project, sited on 2.4ha, would comprise residential, office and retail units as well as a data centre, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities. PETALING JAYA: Nexgram Holdings Bhd has entered into two memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with MyAngkasa Bina Sdn Bhd to jointly develop a parcel of land in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya measuring 26.83 and 5.91 acres respectively.

Nexgram told Bursa Malaysia yesterday that the proposed Putrajaya project involved a mixed development components which comprise three blocks of condominiums and two blocks of apartments.

Nexgram added that the proposed Cyberjaya project involved a mixed development which comprise commercial shops, one block of high-end residential condominium, a four-star hotel and corporate office building.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities has approved Sumatec Resources Bhd's application to be uplifted from the Practice Note 17 classification.
The regulator said on Friday the upliftment would take effect from 9am on Tuesday, Sept 2.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- Instacom Group Bhd (IGB) has received a
contract worth RM205 million from One M Utama Sdn Bhd for the supply, installation,
testing and commissioning of telecommunications network, infrastructure and
engineering works in Sarawak.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the contract is expected to
contribute positively to the group's earnings and assets for the financial years
ending 2013 to 2015.
"This development coupled with our sterling Q1 results announced last week bodes
well for Instacom's transfer to the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia," said Instacom
Chief Executive Officer Anne Kung.
Moving forward, the company is confident of securing more projects of significant
sizes in the foreseeable future in line with its expansion plans and commitment to
operational excellence.

KUCHING: Instacom Group Bhd (Instacom) is optimistic of achieving satisfactory performance for the financial year 2014 (FY14) on the back of promising prospects for solutions providers in Malaysia’s telecommunications industry.

In its Annual Report 2013, Instacom chairman and independent non-executive director Choo Seng Choon reiterated the government announcing its aspirations to increase Internet coverage in rural areas.

To ward this end, the government plans to build a total of 1,000 telecommunication transmission towers in the next three years with an investment value of RM1.5 billion.

Choo said the telecommunication industry is also expected to grow by leaps and bounds as Malaysia moves into the Long Term Evolution (LTE) era with major operators looking to expand their data earnings.

Statistics from global mobile player Ericsson outlined that mobile data traffic doubled this year in line with the global trends. It foresees mobile data volumes rising by a compound annual growth rate of around 50 per cent between 2012 and 2018, the chairman quoted the report as saying.

Meanwhile, based on reports by Protege Associates, the telecommunications network services market is expected to register a compound annual growth rate of 3.3 percent during the period from 2010 to 2015, while household broadband penetration rate in Malaysia is projected to reach 75 per cent in 2015.

“Given all these positive factors, the board is optimistic of achieving a satisfactory performance for the coming financial year ending Dec 31, 2014,” Choo said.

Glotec has a good investment in hand now....the Coal Bed Methane (CBM) has a good future, especially in the Far East. Glotec's CBM investment in Indonesia has a good potential to give good return.

This counter is now very cheap < 0.13, so for anyone looking for mid-long term investment, this is a good candidate.

Of course I am investing as well, if not I won't bother looking into it....haha. CBM is not as hot as Sumatec's Kazakh black gold, but this one can meletop at one point in the future. I am parking my cash here.....
