But if prices are down (like rr88 predicted) and there is no change in the company's or industry's fundamentals, I think it is a good buy. Since this industry has a decent growth prospect in medium and long term, why worry about temporary dip in price?
Also nobody buys glove counters? On the contrary quite a few people are quietly accumulating them. Nobody's gorenging doesn't mean nobody's buying.

Unless I am missing something, looks like a pretty mild correction in the morning. If there is a sharp price drop in the afternoon while the company's fundamental remains unchanged, I may consider accumulating instead of cutting loss.

Very unlikely that the war will end this week. Given current situation, my gut feeling tells me mid-April or May at the earliest. Of course the sooner the war ends the better, but don't hold your breath.

The last time MPI reaches its highest point was around ~RM50. I think in several days, passing RM40 is possible, maintaining RM40-45 within a few months is likely, but if it shoots up way too fast, passing the RM50 mark with relative ease, then I will be worried. Recall that it took 6-7 months to go from RM40 to RM50.

After more than 2 years of averaging down, hopefully this time can reap the reward. Recovery from Covid19 took longer than I thought. If this border opening can't bring it up to RM5, nothing will.

Maybank is the only counter that I could put all my money into it, hold it for many years and not lose sleep at night. But it is more fun to play-play with other counters, So I usually keep around 10-15 percent in MBB and play with the remainder.

In the long run ASP trend downwards because glove makers are more efficient at making gloves using fewer resources. However recent events (pandemic, changes commodity prices) causes ASP to deviate from long-term trend. Give it some time to adjust and ASP will trend downwards as technology progresses.

Yeah there are plenty of glove makers out there, but Harta was able to maintain a decent profit margin, which explain why Harta is pricier than some of its competitors. When Harta cannot compete with others, then I'll sell off my shares.

@vcpmaster123 trading activity has slowed down and there's few interest in gloves. To me this is the best time to buy the dip and keep for long term (2 or so years). On the other hand this counter is too unpredictable for short term gain. It may go up one day, but who knows when.

Pchem fundamentally solid counter. Bought from RM8 in early 2021 and now slowly but surely climb to around RM10 once factoring dividend. Price doesn't go up very fast like tech, but if you buy and hold for long term, can sleep well at night.

mild corrections are normal especially continuous rise for the past week. Major downtrend purported by esteemed rr88 are "not very likely speculation" at best. Despite his "promise" of coming back after RM2, he still rears his ugly head every now and then. Perhaps his time machine wasn't working too well...off by two years at least.

MPI is usually either on top or at the bottom of Bursa.

I remembered buying it before pre-pandemic. Price is RM5 before splitting twice (2020 and 2021). Imagine a company moving from RM1.25 to RM6.00 within span of two-three years...good profit.

I would not worry too much about EPF. They buy and sell same counter on the same day. Maybe to generate funds for withdrawals. Maybe to generate some activity for Bursa to collect some fee. Who knows.

To see if minimum wage affects Greatech, have to know the percentage of employee earns between RM1200 to RM1500.
If only 5% of employee is in this category, little to no effect.
If 95% of employee in this category, material effect.

Banks are usually pretty safe investment. When I started investing years ago, I mostly bought Maybank because it was a safe bet. I slowly diversify when I learned about other industries. Even during bad times (around 2020) price remains above RM7. Some people may prefer other banks, but there's little harm in having a stake in a good bank counter.

MPI is one of my favourite counter to trade.
Why? Because every trading day, it's either top gainer or top loser of Bursa.
If drop a lot why worry, can buy cheap2 lor.
If up too fast why worry, tomorrow maybe down for you to buy, wakaka.
If you have good timing, you can have a try :)

@joerakmo Yeah you're right. But if you received "insider info" yesterday that Indo government is going to U-turn on its policy, specific aren't announced yet, first reaction is to sell, then wait for market to stabilised.

Hmm that explains why there was a large sell-off yesterday afternoon. Some big funds may have received the info earlier. Selling off before market opens today. Sorry EPF, not your fault.

@Pgraduate123 I think foreign funds are coming in large numbers. And they look for undervalued but well-managed company (Harta fits this criteria) Despite recent events, Malaysia's Bursa is doing quite well compared to other exchanges

Silence is good. There are no bursa kaki here to goreng this counter. Nor there are people here to short this counter. There is no hype. The company delivers its promise, and most shareholders are content. No complaints.

Pmetal is good company although strongly depends on price of aluminium. If you believe aluminium price remains high, then Pmetal continues to climb. Otherwise, prepare to lari when price drops.

@pang72 I am just a small ikan bilis. Invest small savings into stock market. See some people here buy hundreds of lots or see them lose 200k in one go, I wish I had that kind of capital to play.

@stkoay sad because banking is considered safe but low return. I expect Genting to perform better than MBB. But with all these recent events, maybe mid2022 at the earliest.
