JUST FANCY THIS:
Aspen, property developer and a newbie in glove manufacturing, have just sold their entire 2021 glove production for USD100 million!
How's that for glove demand!

With Biden in the driver seat we can expect a substantial hike in glove demand from US.
We can also foresee two favorable pending developments:
1. Top Glove's WRO might be lifted soon
2. Maxter US sales revenue of masks and gloves will be substantial and will be a material effect to earnings of the parent company, Supermax.

A lousy counter will see its share price languish and drop over time.
We don't have to do anything.
Glove counters are a different story. They are grossly undervalued now due to sinister back-handed concerted actions. Without them what would be their fair values?

Without them, the prices will be definitely higher.
What must happen when group target met?

So you think any positive news can help prices meanwhile?
2021-01-20 23:07 | Report Abuse
One month after Pfizer vaccine rollout in UK and US more positive news for gloves are appearing. Even some IBs are calling for glove counters.
Yet the improved sentiment cannot save prices from still dropping.
All this drama in Malaysia is due to the huge number of warrants issued end 2019 and early 2020.
Then covid 19 struck and it became such a global pandemic that resulted in supranormal profits for Top Glove and company.
Of course those early warrants were priced too low! How could anyone envisage the scale of this pandemic?
Had the warrants being backed by their 'mother' shares then no problem would arise. But they were meant to become worthless b4 expiry so none were backed.
Either face substantial financial loss, even existential threat, or force the share prices down. What course of action was eventually taken is a no-brainer.

Since both Top Glove and SuperMax can make billions each quarter let's make them cheaper per share so more can enjoy their financial success by making them affordable.
I can't think of any better reason than the above to explain their tumbling share prices since the past several months.

Chinese health experts called on Norway and other countries to suspend the use of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines produced by companies such as Pfizer, especially among elderly people, due to the vaccines' safety uncertainties following the deaths of 23 elderly Norwegian people who received the vaccine.
The new mRNA vaccine was developed in haste and had never been used on a large scale for the prevention of infectious disease, and its safety had not been confirmed for large-scale use in humans, a Chinese immunologist said.
The death incidents in Norway also proved that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines' efficacy was not as good as expected, experts said.
As of Thursday, Norway has reported 23 deaths in connection with vaccination.

All Western countries are putting their faith and hopes on vaccines to end the covid pandemic. Initial outcomes are disappointing and leaves much to be desired. Stories abound on post vaccine side effects and even deaths as reported in US, Norway and Germany.
Pfizer vaccine rollout in UK on 8 December 2020 and its share price also peaked then @ $43. Today it is only $36.70. Shouldn't it be surging through the roof had it been that effective?

When you read Western media China is often portrayed as evil, bad, cruel, pushy, untrustworthy and any other number of negatives. That's the intended narrative cast in stone especially among English-speaking readers.
Likewise here in Bursa, glove counters particularly Top Glove and Supermax are cast as the proverbial 'Monsters' by the local media. Nary a day passes by without an attack on them.

After one year living with Sars Cov 2 there are still many unknowns regarding the pandemic and its treatment.
We know it is highly infectious, more so with the new variants like the British B.1.1.7. At last count 98.7 million have already been infected.
We know it is 20 times more fatal compared to conventional flu. Deaths per 100,000 for flu is 100 (0.1%) but for covid 19 it is 2,000 per 100,000 (2%)
We know it is more fatal for those aged 70 and above, especially for those with underlying health issues.
We doubt we can end it by 31 Dec 2021 globally
