The Hong Leong Group has emerged as a substantial shareholder in Eti Tech Corporation Bhd with a 9.51% stake. It said this followed the issuance of new shares with warrants to the group to settle the debt under Section 176 of the Companies Act, 1965 (Scheme of Arrangement).
