I and friends saw great growth opportunity in CIMB to become one of the greatest regional bank and invested into it when it was traded at 8.3 in 2011. My friends are still in lost. Whole year eps 8.91 cents x 50% , dividend for the year should be 4.45 cents instead of 4.15 cents. BOD broke their own words each year except FY14.

No doubt that Tambun gives great dividend, but I also consider the broad property market which to me is still very lackluster. I hold Tambun since Dec14 and sold all in May17. Fund has been reallocated to semi-con and construction sectors.

Bought Century in Dec 2007 at RM2.04. After factoring in all cash div, share div, share split and bonus(exclude the free WB), made 180% profit in total.
The number is seemingly great, but in fact most of the holding time, the number was in red. If you hold long enough, you will understand the pain and patient. Sigh, making money from Bursa is not an easy job.
