scjm3,the lowering of the RPGT rates previously has the desired effect of stimulating the property counter and I believer the reverse would be true as well as the expected returns will be down by 20 to 25% depending on the number of years held. LBS houses are targeted at owner-occupied and thus may not be that much affected compared with high-end development, which are more speculative. Yeah, a higher PE will comes with good growth and earning prospects. However, LBS has yet to attract investment grade funds into its shareholding.Paying consistent dividends is a first step; however transparency and good corporate governance is another.
Anyway, i have held this counter for a real long time esp during the crisis period where they have to sell lands to pay the banks.
