I could only get some information on note B10. (Profit before tax), but my figures couldn't tally or tie up. I can't take things for granted, can I?

If I were to rearrange the figures, 'profit before other income', 'income tax' and 'share of joint venture result', the profit before tax was only RM419,000 against the revenue of RM26.070 million.

We have to bear in mind that: 'Interest income', 'Investment income', 'Rental income' and 'Realized foreign exchange gain' are, at times, being tagged or labelled 'unearned' or 'passive' income. Such incomes (not business income) are being assessed, computed and taxed differently under tax view point. Revenue is normally defined as the main stream of business income.

I am not an accountant. I hope somebody from here could shed light on this.

RosmahMansur, one question is always in my mind. Can you be kind enough to explain to me how does our share market's bidding system works during the time 16:44:59 till 16:50:00. Why the transacted price, at times, is not the buyer's or seller's bids. What is theoretical price? How is it being calculated and why it must be calculated? Does it not defeating the intention of of willing buyer and willing seller? Would any person be unfairly taken the advantage of such (seemingly baffling) bidding system?
