By the way all airline is using jet fuel. It is not that marlinodo or Mas or sis are using water. As long as AA can increase the air fare I can't see what is the issue of oil price up and down in days or even weeks. For suoermx2 he is the guy who are trapbin the share price daily quote or hourly quote. Bec and investo more or less the same too occupied with daily event . Traders can make money of course but not to my liking for I am not able to predict daily price trend.

I don't see any issue if the oil price stay between 50-60 for most of the jet fuel price is hedged against the forward booking of air tickets. The real concern is the travel demand. Again and again you shall look at the valuation of AA not the short term event like oil price and forex. Look at the longer term. In the coming months there will be 1 AAC SALE. 2. Divestment is Expedia and AACE. 3. IPO OF AAI AND AAP. 4. The dual listing of AA. Let see what will pan out. The short term price fluctuations is just noise and rubbish. But you are a telrrnd trader then that is totally different story. U could follow BWC of investo. They claimed they can do it which I doubt. But if they can I will congratulate them

Supermx2. I am not talking about AA here. I am talking about your general behaviour in the market. I am not promoting AA. Buy at your own risk even though so far AA is promising for the coming quarters. Yes I am holding AA Big time. But once the business fundamental changes I will not hesitate to sell.

AFTER 2nd read the article . AAC so far valued at 900mil. If the Korean buy majority stake not 100% it will receive less than 900 mil. My mistake previously .

VG. Mr Market is a very funny guy. Our job as retailers are to find the gem he offers at stone price and avoid buying stone as gem price. When Mr. Market realise the actually offer dirt cheap price for the gem, he will adjust the price tag accordingly. AAX and Genting are totally diffrent animal. Yes I like aviation industry currently because it is at the right spot to grow. But we shall not too focus in a single industry alone. Genting for me is definitely a better choice than AAX. Currently it offers at NTA. A casino operator selling at NTA or below is kind of silly. It's lience alone is already very valuable. I already bougt some and will not hesitate to buy more if the current upward trend continues. I already sound like a promoter already. Buy at own risk .

1. Market sentiment is good.
2. It is trades a bit below NTA ( which I don't emhasis of NTA )
3 there is sign of turnaround in the last 2 quarters.
4.A 10 % or RM 1.00 appreciate of share price from this point on is not far fetched.

A RM 1.00 increase will translate a RM 1.00 in its warrant . That is yummy ;)

I must say Genting is a well run company but it is kind of boring for it rarely catch retailer attention for it rarely run as fast as mid-cap stock. However this is kind of a steal to me at current price. genting WA = 1.69, Exercise Price = 7.96. ration 1 warrant = 1 mother share. genting now traded at 9.79. Meaning Genting WA is actually traded at a discount of 0.14. ( 9.79-7.96 = 1.83 -1.69 = 0.14 ). With a geraing of 5.79. Imagine in bull market Genting shoot up to 11.00 ( which is quite possible ) and a premium of 5%. Genting WA will be 11.0*1.05 - 7.96 = 3.59 !!!! .. Walau .... of course that is the very very ideal case.... I load it up a bit and think later when I found the market miss price. Apa macam sui bor ini counter ? By the way the expiry date is Dec 2018... Lama lagi ... If foregin fund is coming in, All this big cap will run .. look at CIMB, Maybank, Genting, Genting Malaysia.. Apa macam ? By the way I apologize for saying something irrelevant to AA here.

cwingz, we are all happy for those you said earned 100% multiple rounds in AA but without old posts to prove it, anybody also can say anything. For Investo and her 4 rounds of gains in AA, her trade record is for all to see in her comment history. Those attacking is afraid that readers get to hear the truth. Hehe

supermx2. Fed raise rate or not is actually seconadary. Why people are so sacred of the rate hike. Hiking rate is nnot the end of the world for the market. Hiking rate because the economy of US is doing well. That indirectly is a boon for the market. As long as the rate hike is not a surprise that will spooke the market. As you could see what is the AA management is doing to manage the forex gain/loss which I dun really care about because it is just accounting number I don't want to repeat it again and again. In fact AA is trying to manage in such a way that the forex gain/loss won't be s dramatic. ( I told you about the transfer of 29 Fleet into AAC, if you don't understand, I pun malas to explain it again ). Go and figure it out. Try to understand the financial stuff otherwise it is all emypty talk like Big Picture. You ask me how ? I myself also dunno how to tell you how. To buy you will be scared if the price drop then u am tiew. If not buying but price goes up you also am tiew. You tell me how ? You don't have a value in AA at all deep in your heart so you tell me how leh ? I have a price tag for it. If AAC is valued at 1 billion USD, AA at 2.90 Valued at 9.7 BIllion. meaning you are buying AA for 4.3 BIl excluding AAC value. So do you think it worth it ? How much AAC made for AA? CIMB estimate it made 67 MIL USD = 295 MIl RM. So post AAC sale, how much AA will made in 2017 ? It made 2 bil with one off gain of about 500 mil. so in 2017 let say it made 2-0.5-0.295 = 1.20 bil ( post AAC sale ). Give it a bit of discount of 10% ok. So it made about 1.08 Bil RM. ( that is a very rough estimation for I am too lazy to go into detail ). Now will you pay 4.3 Bil RM for a company that makes 1.03 Bil ? You go and figure. Don't thank me if you make money and don't blame me if you loose money.

While Ah Chong is fighting in the forum for his Big Picture Theory, Ah Kaw quietly use his extra fund to invest in others counters and wait patiently for it to pop.
