Too early to give a verdict to the effect of the consolidation exercise. Let the market has more time to reflect.

During MCO, the bus services was voluntarily suspended for one and a half month in Q2. From the Q2 results, we can see business is only slightly affected. We are under CMCO for now and business has been normalized, not affected for the time being anyway.
Full rental of A&P spaces at Kampar Putra Sentral commenced in Sept 2020. I do think we are still on track for record earning in the 4th Q FY2020.
Going forwards, the pandemic might be extended and it does delay the timing of realization of the full potential of Kampae Putra. However, as thing remains as it is, we are still on course for the FY2021 estimates of Rm47 millions profit.

If you see what you like is selling cheap. You start to have doubts, what do you do?
you check it again, right?

I think one can get some answers to your concerns from the video.
If you believe them then buy more at a bargain price.
If you still in doubt, fact check with the announced quarterly results. Track them on the coming quarter results. They promised a better Q results, didn't they?
Go to Kampar terminal. Check out UTM.
If you are still not convinced then I guess sell is the only option left and live a happier man.

sifu tksw, you are right. No urgency to buy.
Big seller at 270 but 265 seems to be small seller

Thanks for your conspiracy theory. It might be the case but I'm more incline to think that the weak or impatient shareholders are leaving the scene prematurely.
Either way, it is good to flush them out at current price before the consolidation. If the price failed to move up now, we still don't have to wait long before they announce the final Q results.

It is all written in the above article.
Furthermore, some shareholders are worry that there will be right issue call after the consolidation. it would NOT happen as they have enough funding for the next 5 years expansion plan.
'With RM200m left to be drawn from its Sukuk, RM65m remaining warrant proceeds, and a highly cash generative IPTT segment'
If one study carefully their business model, one will find that not only it is highly profitable, it is also sustainable.

MAX8186 is correct. They are acting under the advice of Kenanga. The idea is to push the consolidated share price to above Rm1 then place them out to the big boy.

I can only remember a few things in her presentation.
1) The covid only affect the Q2 results due to Bus services voluntarily
halting for one and a half month during MCO & 30% rental rebate.
2) My understanding is profit will be sustainable at least 12mil per Q.
3) UTM taking a floor in Kampar Putra. 2 blocks of Hotels will be convert to UTM hostels. This should improve the human flow in the area and help the other outlets like cinemas, bowling & supermarket to flourish
4)Construction of Bidor terminal will start in Q2 2021 & 2 years after completion of Bidor terminal, Tronoh Terminal will commence construction. Future growth plan in place.
5)Dividend policy will be quarterly at a minimum of 25%. 35-40% for FY2020.

Its 409,000 sf of gross leasable area, the recently opened Terminal Kampar Putra currently has a take-up rate of only 50%. We expect the woes of Covid-19 will gradually come to pass in 2021, ringing in a return in consumer spending that could expedite Terminal Kampar’s take-up rate to up to 70%.
Some said the main tenant is UTM.
Don't think the bowling, ballroom & cinemas can be operational in the 1Q of 2021.

In consolidation phase? How far does it go?
2020-12-15 10:10 | Report Abuse
The foreign funds are not interested in Penny stock.
The rationale behind the consolidation is to push it about Rm1. The market cap will at the same time be more than 645mil. The IBs can then place them out to the foreign fund.

HLG still insisting on using SOP valuation and not a word on the Kalimantan plantation in its latest report. Even the JV & associates were mentioned but not on the Plantation Segment. Why??
Is this segment omitted in HLG SOP valuation?
The Revenue increased to 44,573,000 from 30,607,000 YoY. An increase of 45.6%.
The company started planting in 2012 and has planted 13,400 hectares in total at the end of 2019. An average of 1,675 hectares a year.
With much higher CPO prices for the last Q and more young palms coming into maturity. I think the Revenue for 2020 will be 60-70 mil.
Utilisation of its oil mill will increase too and so does the profit margin.
There is huge potential in this segment, less than 25% of the palms are in peak yield atm.

We can certainly looking forward to a better near terms prospect for FY2001 & FY 2002.
The first Q already shows a 40% increase in profit on the back lower construction activities due to the Covid-19. it is worth noting that all Singapore operations have restarted only by September 2020 and is currently operating at full capacity now, hence a much better contribution from the construction division is expected in the next Q. The higher profit was attributed to significantly higher investment income coupled with better performance achieved by the manufacturing division.
It is impressive for The Group's estimated outstanding construction order book currently exceeds RM500 million whereas the tender book value
stands at about RM2.5 to 3 billion. The Board is positive on the performance of the construction division in FY2021 as the current
order book is expected to support the Group's financial performance in FY2021.
On the manufacturing front, the Board expects the metal container operation to continue to provide the Group with a steady source
of income based on stable domestic demand. We continue to develop on our product range, markets, efficiencies and quality.
The Board of Directors is of the opinion that the Group’s financial results will remain profitable for the remaining financial period
of the financial year ending 30 June 2021

What are they waiting for?
NTA : RM1.46
PE : 11.48 (last 4 Q)
Cash in hand : Rm142mil (should be more after disposal of land)
CPO price > Rm3,300
All segments including POE, SPV, refinery, oil mill and plantations are doing better last Q. I'm expecting a much better Q results.
What nonsense is this sum-of-parts derived TP of RM0.83 by HLG?
Kenanga maintain UNDERPERFORM with an unchanged TP of RM0.780 based on FY21E PER of 9.9x. They assign a PE of 23.3 to KGB and give two back to back favourable reports on KGB and pushed up the price. Although I own KGB too, I simply can't see the logic.
Hopefully, the IBs will change their mind and start some rotational play on KLSE counters.

In my opinion, this share is severely undervalue at current price. NTA per share is 77 sens. Even cash per share is 22.5 sens.
Gohku, I hope more people like you share the same view. This is a very good dividend stock with the potential of better earning when we get back to normal. Don't forget the company did enjoy double digit EPS for 3 years during 2015-2017.
let's hope that good time return soon.

Kon, I agree with you. the BS is very healthy. As at 31/12/19, Cash in hand (62mil) Plus Tax exempted investment (66mil), we are looking at 128mil. 4 sens dividend is sustainable.
At 32.5 sens, the dividend yield is a whopping 12.3%.

What is the impact of the MCO on the company?
2020-04-03 15:19 | Report Abuse
The RTA sector is labour intensive and was badly hit by labour shortage in 2018-2019. This also led to lost in order. We can see that situations were improving until the recent MCO. They went back to production last Sunday but only working at 25% capacity. They also sorted out the problems of shipments. Don't think they will loss any order unnecessarily.
The particleboard sector stopped work on 21/3 and can resume once the supply of logs and resin has been secured.
No problem with the production of king oyster mushrooms. Sales to hypermarkets increased by 5 folds but restaurants business dropped significantly. The overall sales will be much higher once the MCO is over.
The bottom line of this 2 months will definitely be negatively impacted. Hopefully, they can overcome that quickly in the coming months.
The company has a very strong BS and should be able to weather through this difficult period.
The company has a high dividend pay out record. Hope the dividend can be maintained or not dropped much in the next few quarters.

Sense maker, you are painting a very gloomy picture of the future of Hevea. The current situations will definitely impact negatively on the bottom line of the company. The MCO also causes a few hiccups in the production & shipments. As far as future demand for its products, your guess is as good as mine.
