As I said before, I didn't follow Tenaga QRs in detail.
if u really want me to say something, I may say the MCO has little effect (around 12%), the main reason of NP drop was caused by weakened RM, maybe Tenaga has debts in foreign currencies, that cause loss when mark to market price.

Actually, there are 4 versions of RI ....he changes so many times, probably is to cope with the situation. For example, he changes the 3rd. version to the final version, i think this is bcos many of the retailers sold their holdings and hope to buy back cheaper, later. Now he changes to the more expensive version, so that, they can't buy back as cheaper as expected for the 3rd. version.

For those changed their holding from mother share to WB, although is not affected by the version change (bcos exercise prx and quantity compensated will be adjusted accordingly), but he manipulate WB less, so that, the WB holders have less chances to make money from trading the WB (compare to holding mother share).

Those did the calculation knew, for the 3rd. version, due to some conditions (that they get bursa approval) the 5- VWAMP should below 74sen. When he manipulated above the price higher, it is puzzled and now, there is the answer, he change the version again.

Very cunning, out of scope until u dun believe (eg. change the RI version 4 times, etc) :D :D :D

Normally I buy Tenaga without reading much their financial report, bcos every time i hold it long enough, i get profit. Since some one said, is caused by RMCO, just now i went to check.

I found that Q ended 30June2020 PBT was not much difference from 2019, but Net Profit was almost half of before! I wonder what was happened and checked the QR and found that,

I saw their 10 yrs FR, not even a single Q was losing, and the revenue was growing steadily.
The only exception was last Q (4,5,6), when the MCO in place, and yet the revenue drop was very little, and the loss was not much. while the MCO is easing, have confidence it can turnaround.

Today, CIMB gave TP=1.00 only, HOLD.

is very clever pushes up the mother share price only ... not the WB ....

If he fixes the RI subscription @0.15 or even @0.18, they also have to subscribe, no alternative way .... unless they sell at loss :-(

For those who want to obtain right for attending AGM with minimum cost, it is advisable to buy mother share. if u buy PA, u still hv to add cash to convert to mother share (only mother share holders hv the right to attend the AGM) which is even more expensive.

Pls do not think that u buy PA can save broker commission, bcos both are under minimum commission charge, your broker will charge u the same.

Moreover, when u do conversion, besides troublesome (filling up form, etc,), u also have to pay remittance of RM20, this is an extra charge!

If u want to attend AGM, u don't hv to buy now! the AGM for this year was already over in May, u can use the money for other more productive purpose until beginning of next year. Unless u buy for other purpose, not for attending AGM,

Trade wisely, think wisely, look into a matter more objective rather than prejudice .... u probably hv a, not only happy but contented Malaysia day :-)
