just a word of caution, in 2005, i lost more than 300K on this counter, i hold at RM1.60++ and 1 find day in may 2005, SEAL and another 2 speculative counters went nosedive, it hit 22 sen. wuh, my margin call hit through the roof. hope not offending anyone, it's just be careful. i dont have any interest in this counter bcos i m not holding any of its shares now, just to give a piece of advice especially to innocent speculative players

may be will drop to 0.10, then 0.09 soon.......... thean fook, if it drops to 9 sen, i will be collecting again truck load of these shares; wise eye is very correct, TPY isn't selling, when he's selling his millions of shares, then u know the game is over, for now, let's just wait and see..

the year was 2005, it plummeted (together with 2 other penny speculative counters on the same day, 16 May 2005) from 1.60/1.70+ to all the way about 20 sen; but it's history already la.

tuahuat is correct, when TPY starts selling, then it's over, for now, he's not selling, so that is the current situation now
2014-04-18 12:58 | Report Abuse
yeap, choo is correct, that was last year new's la; it's a non-event already; TPY himself accummulated huge shares in early part of this year. so, old story la halim, gyaphong & tuahuat. show is not over yet..
Here's TA's article:
Nextnation Communication Bhd
(Dec 27, RM8.5 sen)
Maintain sell at nine sen with a target price of seven sen: Nextnation’s first half ended Oct 31 of financial year 2014 (1HFY14) core net profit of RM2.7million (-1% year-on-year [y-o-y]) was within expectations, accounting for 60% of our full-year estimate. Its second quarter (2Q) of FY14 top line (+8.4% quarter-on-quarter [q-o-q]) was stronger on a sequential basis due to total sales having more than doubled from the previous quarter (108% q-o-q) at both its Malaysian and overseas operations.
Correspondingly, 1HFY14 revenue surged 52% y-o-y due to the strong sequential rebound in the top line. However, top line growth did not flow through to the bottom line (-1% y-o-y) due to higher depreciation that caused pre-tax margins to contract to 6% (1HFY13: 8%).
Although its overseas operations remained loss-making, pre-tax losses had narrowed significantly to RM48,000 in 2QFY14 (1QFY14: RM160,000). We believe this was due to profit being propped up by its high-margin US$22.5 million (RM74.02 million) outsource contract with PT Inovisi Infracom Tbk.
We maintain our earnings estimates as we expect Nextnation’s 2HFY14 to be weaker due to upfront costs required for its start-up projects. We await further development on its new ventures including: (i) property development; (ii) data centre management; (iii) coal trading in Indonesia; and (iv) investment management.
We are not perturbed by the delay in the implementation of these ventures as it will enable Nextnation to accumulate cash from its existing core IT operations to beef up its balance sheet in anticipation of substantial upfront capital expenditure for the new projects.
Maintain “sell” on Nextnation with unchanged target price of seven sen based on 0.5 times FY14 price-to-book. The successful execution of its new property project in Cyberjaya will be a near term rerating catalyst.
Nextnation expects to generate gross development profit of approximately RM70 million from this mixed development. Spread over the project’s tenure of 11 years, it implies potential boost of RM6.4 million per annum in gross profits for the group. — TA Securities Research, Dec 27

i read & read & read (like listen, listen, listen.. ha ha) CP Teh's article last sunday especially this phrase "..away from those nuisance human ... who do not even understand who we are.." i can c why many readers r making a lot of comments here.. to me, using the term 'nuisance human' is not so nice.. it can be interpreted also that the writer is not a human, maybe an alien or other types of species?

this guy ah (cp teh).. the way i c it, sometimes he excessively talks about being frugal.. to the point off 'over doing it' it 'turns off' many readers on this. however, i think that his passion for charity work is something positive about him..

tayguansong, u'll make your 4K back thru other stocks eventually in the future, in the mean time, forget about your loss.. remember about the golden rule u just mentioned - never catch a falling knife.

i want to say this.. next to impossible (CP Teh may be disagreeable with me). this is only possible if there's a superbull run like in 1993 and he/she (with 1K capital) has a lot of insiders' information, ie which stocks will be goreng. let me answer shirley1's question. yes, i m in the market for more than 10 years. it is not achievable. i started in 2000 during the dot com bubble. my capital, about 200K ++. 'buy, buy, buy' speculative shares over the years; suddenly disaster struck. 1 of my speculative shares plunged within a day (i was too busy with my office mtgs; no time to monitor).. from 1.50++ to about 20sen.. i loss about 300K; also owe my bank (share margin financing almost 100K). so painful period. but i rebuilt. left with only 1K in my cash account. worked hard for the next few years; managed to rebuild my capital again..got back into stock market soon after. until today, now holding about 730K nextnation shares.. hoping for its goreng time. the only point i want to mention is this, i dont do bluechips, i only dabble in speculative stocks; SCOMI, Mutiara goodyear, eden,HIRO, etc.etc. and latest speculative stocks (for the last 1 year). so if u ask me, am i a millionare now after 10 years with a start up of abt 200K. the answer is a definite NO. perhaps i should join some of the trattles and see where i go from there.. may be i can be a millionaire in 10 years. but its ok; my yearly salary is already a quarter of a million; when i turn 55 soon, i can withdraw more than 500K from my account.. hope this answer your question shirley1

to me, being critical of the government of the day (regardless of whether federal or state levels) is critical.. but we have to put forward our opinion and arguments objectively.. if one can do that, i will 'salute' him or her..

it's ok to agree to disagree. in anything we do, we cant please every1. that's a given.. anyhow, shirley1, u do not have to apologize to me.. there's nothing rude with regards to your earlier comments. anyhow, what i find rather 'interesting', is when CP Teh includes in his blog things like "dogs bark if they dont know the person". statement like this will surely attract forumers' attention. to the extent of perhaps some people feel that "they r being equated to dogs"... (dont get me wrong with this statement).. anyway, shirley1, how your marketing at the wet market?

normally, we confide and tell our buddies all the 'secret, secret' things, to the extent of what we do in bed, etc. in this case, to blog & tell the readers about our life, etc. etc. is fine, it's just that sometimes some of the readers do not "like" what's written. sometimes, ic could be due to choice of words, the style of writing, etc. etc. i read his blog regularly, i find nothing wrong with the contents, it's just that sometimes i feel 'awkward' reading some of his postings. but then, again, as CP Teh said, it's his blog. he can write whatever he likes to write. perhaps, if we compare his blog to say malaysia finance blogspot (dali), alex (nexttrade), bonescythe, etc.. we'll probably see very different style of writing techniques and the contents. we'll never know how CP Teh feels abt all these comments

1 thing that i've learnt over the years, nothing is certain when it comes to trading.. unless we're so good in terms of trading skills and we are privileged to have all kind of information that can make us to be very good at trading; we will always be at the mercy of people who make decisions that may cause the share price to tumble, like in MAS case this morning.

so what i was saying earlier that dec 2012 wont be an election month is true. it can be held in dec, BN still need to 'tighten up' a lot of 'loose end' and tackle the issue of potential sabotage. they want to go in to win the battle and the war so does speak. so, most likely after CNY, possibly mar 2013

i always believe in this time tested statement: 'what goes up, will go down'.. and i believe the reverse is true too. the question will always be, how high it can go, or how low will it go.. well, with the current market condition, & the US 'cliff hanger', it will go down further, correction is not finished yet, but if u r the 'adventeruous' type of person, u might want to dabble in penny & speculative stock, KBUNAI for example. btw, i m not promoting this stock, and i m not holding any of these shares. just stating my opinion to get rid of the -ve blues some of us may be having now

2012-11-28 08:17 | Report Abuse
most likely it will be after CNY, it cant be in Dec, UMNO AGM will be held this week. they'r strategizing their final onslaught for the election. after AGM, they need to go back to their divisions/branches and disseminate info to their people. this will take more than a week or two. so, no GE during december, my bet - Mar 2013.
