FY2023 revenue Q1 recorded loss due to lower sales , with all these contract extension and Petronas Capex . they should see better sales and profit in 2024 , as some of the contacts was awarded in Q2 2023 ,and got extended until end 2024 , on top of that , the turn around of Perdana which should benefit the company performance as well , with this for sure they will have better revenue and profit in 2024 .. hope they can bring us more good news soon ..

I studied the MCEMENT trend , it took them about 7 months to reach RM4.3 (from 2.5) , however , the PE is 21X , so I believe YTLP may need shorter time to achieve that as long as the EPS maintain at 8 to 10sens consistently..

YTLP is traded at PE 7.6X now , and YTL traded at 14X , hence, YTLP is definitely undervalued stock .. on top of that , company do not have any near terms threads to their current and near future new business plan , really don't understand why the share price can not goes up above RM 3 ..

downside risk for YTLP is low based on few facts ,
1. be included in the KLCI index started from next week (may attract more fund manager to invest .
2. Low PE (lowest in the industry )
3. Stable income and profitability (based on past few q results ) and no near future thread to their core business .
4. strong business pipeline , new WTE power plant , Data center , Digital bank , solar energy farm ..
5. If the interest rate in UK come down , then another good opportunity is to activate back their UK properties project since they already hold the big size of land there , it is matter of time to re activate the project as the demand is there based on the research..

that is the reason why I invested in YTLP ..

On top of what @dragon328 mentioned , the electricity tariff for retail in Singapore is higher for this quarter ( Oct to Dec) , the USEP is also higher (up to Nov) , this indicated the revenue could be higher as well for Q2 ...

Based on HL IB recommendation , YTLP is the champion in terms of increment % , lets hope this is happening in 2024 ...

Singapore USEP Price , July : S$167.5 VS Oct : S$221.3 , Aug : S$158.8 VS Nov : S$177.7 , so far , the price is higher than previous quarter , if Dec remain the trend , then , that means , the revenue of YTLP will be higher in this quarter as well even this is only contribute 20 to 30% of their portfolio ..

YTLP shall be included into the KLCI index started from next week , with these new development , may help to improve the PE expectation , right now most of the IB use 7-8X as reference is really too low for a company have such a good profitability record and potential .. Tenaga is having 19X PE now , hope YTLP can catch up this trend as well ..
