IGB: Consortium to build RM8.4bn Taipei Twin Towers. If I were you, I would probably have sold at 6 and 5.5 yesterday, and bought back at 5 yesterday. This morning, sold at 4.5 and buy back at 4...... Unfortunately, I m staying away for now.... scouting for some other opportunities elsewhere ..... Oh!! Life is TOUGH!!!

If ASTRO is OVER-Priced because their IPO listing didn't see price spiking, does that mean FGV and IHH were UNDER-Priced?? If so, the farmers in Felda should go on strike too and demand higher pricing, right??

captros ---- This is only the first day listing for all the CW of Astro. Seems like once in a blue moon that we get to see a sea of RED for all the CW listing. Usually, they either hold back or wait a while longer. However, market makers (i.e. those Investment Bankers who issue them), probably need to make a living despite a bear market for Astro. So, either bull or bear market, they can still make profit at any given time.

The way I see it, Maybank IB is smart bcoz their listing size is max out at 100mil. Today, they have probably sold only 30mil to the market, and hoping for the market to push the price for their subsequent selling. No point for them holding too much yet, not sold at the end of the exercise period. As CB gained buying momentum, the market maker just kept releasing the units to the market.

However, the real gem is actually CE. The exercise price for CE is RM2.88 as compared to RM3.75 for CB. If u look at the two, CE should give u more upside potentials than CB. But if CB has not been sold so much this morning, very likely it can't match the pricing of CE in due course when CE picks up. That also explains why CE trading is not as aggressive as CB, bcoz CE market makers know very well, their CE will be the next favourite after CB.

Whoever trading on this counter is really making money everyday. This morning could Sell at RM2.86 or RM2.85; then buyback at RM2.78 or RM2.77. Can make average 8 sen contra gains..... not bad!!

Will EPF pick up AA if the RM2.81 level is revisited, just like the recent dip??

Will the panic selling happen and then quickly ramp up to RM3.19, just to let the punters cease the opportunity again??

Time will tell!

Boon Wee ---- In fact, u have done much better than most of us. Imagine the gloomy days when u were out in this trail seeking attention, and there were none. Likewise, when the days draw nearer to expiry, those panic selling will make u go sleepless nites. Not selling at 5.5, that's fine. Just move on and pick some other undervalued stocks, and possibly another gem call warrant waiting for u to discover.

So, enjoy the small profits for now. There will always be tomorrow..... :)) $$$$$$$$$

Well, there is always opportunity to buy back later.... whenever there is a rally, u should sell and take the profit first.... then, u re-enter at a lower cost ...... CN is not ordinary shares, it is call warrant, ..... that's how u can make $$$$$$$

If u think it can go higher, maybe u should let go some and hold back a little, .... otherwise, beware of the selling ....

If u keep hearing "NEW INDEX HIGH" .... and u also know DIGI is part of it..... wouldn't u want to take some profits ??

Looking at the buying momentum, it could be EPF who is nimbling this counter ..... but EPF is not a substantial shareholder yet..... What if, in a few days time, the sudden announcement that EPF has accumulated more than 5%, and immediate announcement of their shareholding emerges ..... hmmmmm, that is probably in the making ...... :))

soljadu ..... that's quite some shares u holding on astro..... i don't hold astro shares, but if i m in your position now, I would probably do the following:-

1. Sell 100,000 shares at the current price, and queue back in at 2 sen lower to buy back.

2. Sell 100,000 shares at the current price, and buy in some call warrants. Say CB, and queue at 1 sen higher to sell.

The two steps above is probably to minimise some bleeding, won't stop the bleeding immediately, but it can give some confidence in trading under such high volume trade.

Astro CB is looking very attractive ..... no wonder easily supported at 3.5 given that the first day of trading, most punters would take positions on these call warrants, especially if they offer upside potentials ......

I was busy selling CN just now..... sold all at 5.5 ..... guess, it was worth waiting for almost 2 mths for this rally ....... :))

That was the trend for the past week ..... consistently in the afternoon.... but if u r thinking of entering, try the newer call warrants, which r cheaper punt, bcoz this counter very volatile but can swing very fast .....

Look like someone going to push it higher this afternoon ..... :))

Try looking at IGB too...... this counter has seen EPF selling but the company kept buying back its shares..... and yesterday, within the last hour of trade, the buying shot up from 2.42 to 2.49 ....... seems like something GREAT is coming....
