1. RM have strengthen from RM 4.78 in Oct 2023 to RM 4.61 today. The big unrealize forex loss incur by eastern steel in last quarter result -RM 123.4m will writeback at least partially t forex gain in next Q result.

In last Q result, Eastern steel incur big unrealize forex loss -RM 123.4m due to USD strengthen from RM 4.58 to RM 4.78, resulted its net profit RM 65m U-turn become net loss -RM 60m.

Hence, it is safe to estimate that current weakness USD to RM 4.58 now if continue toward end Jan 2024 will resulted almost fully writeback unrealize forex loss into gain RM 123.4m + higher stee price in current Q to record much higher profit margin than RM 65m + 3 fold increase volume output > RM 300m in next Q.

Hiaptek 27% stake effective will record almost RM 90m, EPS > 5sen
