People expect vaccine is a miracle drug, people expect cases going to go down to two figures by May. People expect interstate travel by Raya. But that’s not the case in reality. So over expected.

Interstate travel not going to be allowed for many more months to come. This will hurt genm badly.

Unrealistic expectations on Genting Malaysia. Theme park open only Pahang people can go. Overhead cost too much.

For other states in Malaysia, many more months to go before inter state travel is allow. It’s not what we think anymore.

@pjseow, no doubt for the past 20 years topglove gave a very good return. Those long term investors are multi millionaire now. And those who bought few years ago also earning a lot now despite the recent fall in share price. Congrats to them.

Many things we need to factor in. Not just only about earnings. Risk of Oversupply in future, risk of ASP dropping. Even ASP is not plunging down, but it’s still going down. So market of course will give it discount. When earnings starts to drop, PE will go up. Do remember at current price it’s already 3x pre covid.

We’re not talking about recession proof only. It’s about oversupply in future. Tenaga, digi, maxis also recession proof lo.
