budget announcement is positive for all the O&G counters. expect this to push up the prices on next monday.

this budget announcement is gonna be good for the economy. expecting to see foreign fund to flow in next week. so buy now if not u will miss the chance to fly high together.

China manufacturing data just came out pretty good. later in the afternoon Londoners and Europeans will come in to push the price higher again.

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) confirmed on Tuesday it would withdraw from its flagship Petrocarabobo crude oil project in Venezuela.

"Petronas confirms that its subsidiary, PC Venezuela Ltd, has decided to withdraw its 11 percent participation in the Carabobo project and has communicated to this effect on 27 August 2013 to the Venezuelan authorities," Petronas said in a statement.

The withdrawal was part of the company's strategic review of its global assets and would not further delay a planned $19 billion refinery project in southern Malaysia, two Petronas sources told Reuters. - Reuters

now US has to go to congress for approval like UK. most probably it will be rejected by congress. so monday the price will definitely shoot up again

this counter has a very good potential. part of the reason why the trading is slow because pre GE, lots of projects were being put to hold and most of the projects were released right after the may which might not be reflected into last quarter financial report. So next quarter gonna have a better growth for sure with Petronas expanding aggressively.

guys. i heard from someone that it was an option being exercised by a firm hence the directors were forced to sell @ 1.05 rather than the market price (1.11 - 1.15). If the report is expected not to be good, they will definitely sell their shares in the market which is the range of (1.11 - 1.15). However they did not do that and as a matter of fact they sold it @ 1.05. So the firm that holds the option think that the price is moving higher, therefore they decided to exercise it before the report.

Tonight there's a very important data from US which is the non-farm payroll. Most fund managers will stay at the sideline until the result is out.
