People is now throwing on the cheap, there is no better time to collect these few days.

In the last 3 qtr results, we expect Huaan to record strong profits given the rising met coke prices which at one time hit the peak of 2,5XX. But the ave selling prices of its coke in the report was between 1,9XX and 2,0XX, meaning they hv been selling way below market. So, the rising price now does not seem to justify. Maybe, now they hv a way of selling coke higher than market. Anyway, market may hv known something that we don't.

Technical wise, Huaan has definitely turned bullish after it has breached EMA 200 treandline. Fundamental wise, I can't find any catalyst for such surge in price becoz based on a recent article, it indicated the met coke price at 1,968, while coking coal at 1,231. At this rate, there isnt any justification to suggest higher average sales. Even met coke price was around 2,500 at its peak in late 2018, the average selling price reported was much lower. Unless there is good news abt its diversification into technology business, there isnt any new catalyst. Pls enlighten if you hv any thoughts.

There was news that Huaan intends to diversify its biz into technology back in Nov'18. Wonder any members here hv any update on this news. Could this be the catalyst for recent price movement, since the coke business isn't making much profit given the low average coke price.

Thks for sharing @MoneyGamer. I hv taken time to study on Homily Chart used by MoneyGamer. As long as a stock has bankers chip, meaning there are big players still inside. Naim should b well position to resume uptrend later. This should at least give me some form of confidence in accumulating more shares on the cheap. As we all know, market is driven by big players and when they trigger some selling, retails will be spooked. That is where I make use of this opportunity to buy more when retailers are fearful as preached by Warren Buffett. For me, Homily is a great chart to track this trend. This is not a promotion abt Homily, but I rely on it more often than not before buying into any stock. So, I put my trust on Naim to recover. Just my sharing here.

@Manekineko, I'm afraid D&O has phased out their TV segment due to low profit margin. They are now fully focus on Automotive segment, which command higher margin, especially their new products on Energy vehicles.

Seem to be losing momentum after much euphoria.

Great analysis, i3gambler. Worst case scenario should worth at least 1.43, which bring it closer to Dayang. Unfortunately, market does not see it that way.

China is already the world's largest market for Electric Vehicles and the EV market could translate into peak demand as early as in 2025, which augurs well for D&O products. EV will be the catalyst for D&O growth.

Guess market movers all jump ship to Dayang, given its meteoric rise and hv lost interest in Naim.

Must first clear the psychological barrier 0.245, the 200 moving day average. If it can stay above this level, the sky will be much clearer.

Market must hv smell something brewing that we don't. Chart wise, it has broken 200 EMA, a bullish sign coming if it can stay above this threshold. Momentum wise, Moneygamer has already spoken. Now, am patiently waiting for news.

Dancomech has surged with high volume yesterday. Pantech, which is in similar business as Dancomech and 3X the size of its revenue, will soon have its run.

@MoneyGamer, pls keep us in the loop as and when there are bankers in D&O. I noticed strong buyers around 0.72 and 0.725 yesterday, my take is that big players are accumulating.

Lets hope Naim breaks the 1.0 mark this time for good. It is really undervalued as compared to its NTA and its price has some catching up to do ever since Dayang roke out.

There is no doubt that car sales in China has been slowing down on a month-to-month basis since July 2018, but D&O continued to defy the odds by registering higher profits in last 2 qtrs. So, there is a great buying opportunity now, given that its long term business growth is still intact.

The correct NTA is 2.17 now and not 4.17, after completing the rights issue last Dec 2018. I guess it is not updated yet.

Good closing today. I don't think it will be down much even if it does drop tomorrow. Naim corrected earlier to 83 cents before resumed a slow and steady uptrend, while Dayang was pushed up non-stop, so a retracement is due. But if ligtning does strike twice, Naim will be good buy.
