@bang_miskin I noticed that Kossan's latest QR is quite similar to its 4QFY20. So if Harta is to follow the same trend, I wonder if we'll be seeing something similar to Harta's 3QFY20? That wouldn't be too bad actually, right?

Hehehe... it's not too late. Kossan is very reasonably priced now but if I were to top up, I'd still prefer to do so below 2.30. I queued at 2.25 today but couldn't get so gonna try again tomorrow. I've also traded Kossan between the 2.2+ and 2.3+ range a few times.

I just checked Kossan past dividend payment, and I was very very surprised. 36 sen dividend for the past three quarters at the current market price of RM2.44! Harta priced at RM6+ and only pays 50+sen, kedekut ;P Maybe I should've invested in Kossan instead of Harta.

@bang_miskin thank you for your input. Agree that we should wait and see, and not be rash. You're right in that if the price moves lower, it will be because of sentiment, and by the end of the day, it might come back up and I'll kick myself if I dispose first thing in the morning out of fear and impulse. LOL!

Very happy with Kossan's 12c dividend. That's 36 cents I've collected so far from Kossan this year, which works out to 13% return as my average cost is 2.7+. I first bought Kossan in April. Hope we'll get great news from Harta soon!

@bang_miskin I was just going ask, how will Kossan QR impact Harta's price tomorrow seeing Harta is next to issue QR. I'm not sure if I should hold or sell first thing tomorrow what I bought today

bought since this morning before I read the news. GAH! Average cost 6.03. The investigation by CBP on Harta and Supermax was announced around May this year. Supermax got the ban. I'm quite hopeful that Harta is in the clear. TG, Harta and Kossan will benefit from this ban imposed on Supermax.

Queued to buy at 2.25 but price went back up. LOL!

Supermax ban is good news for its competitors, esp. TG who is already cleared by the CBP.

We've been through this before with CBP and Top Glove. Now TG is out of the woods, it's Supermax's turn. History will repeat. So buy when prices are low.

CPO all time high and price not move yet... it is ok to accumulate till next Q result...
Eventually, the share price will reflect the value just matter of time. Be patient in investment in share market...
TNB wont move much due to high material cost for its power plant...

bought at 0.28 last year.. waiting to sell. I noticed that this current level is already at pre-pandemic price though, so not sure how much higher can it go?

@bang_miskin I said that because there's high volume transacted around 7.00 level, so we can deduce many people are stuck at that level. 6.50 very thin vol. So when the stock moves up, there will be lesser resistance until it reaches the 6.90-7 level. I'm not a technical charting person so not sure what terminology to use, but I hope you get what I mean :)

@bang_miskin when it breaks the previous high of 6.3+, it will most likely move past 6.50 easily, so I think you should reconsider the cut loss price. But that's just my opinion :)

Managed to buy more at 6.02 on Friday before closing to bring average cost to 6.08. Sold at 6.25 this morning.

It's been green the past three days. Plus it's Friday. So hopefully just a healthy correction. I think there is strong support at the 6.00 level.

Hopefully it closes above RM6.00 today. Thats a consolation.

Expect it to do better and as Bang Miskin said, RM6.50 before QR would be nice.

But despite all this there is always a concern that any bad news may push it towards a new 52 week low, closer to RM5.00.

@bang-miskin I too have too much Harta, because I've been dollar cost averaging from 10 to 6.80 now. I sure hope it won't plunge to 5, now that I am so close!! Hahaha.. Anyway, like you, I definitely will buy at that price.

I am a very bad trader, but occasionally when I bought too much of a certain counter (Harta) I plan to trim it down when prices are favorable. If I want to trade, I would choose one with a positive sentiment. (Tech stocks are the current favorite, but prices are already at historical high).

Currently Harta seems decent for trading, but I worry that the next QR could cause price to plunge to new lows. Still if the next QR causes prices to plunge close to RM5. I will be queuing to buy at RM5.

sold 6.25 yesterday, bought back 6.10 today. otherwise if price goes up, i have nothing to sell. :P

Hopefully. Hopefully If it will break the previous high of 6.32 to form a higher high.

Yes, I think China factor overblown. With their energy crisis now, it may not be worth it for them to concentrate on gloves esp with the ASPs moving south. So Msian gloves may be saved from an onslaught by the Chinese. At least for now. Hopefully the share price consolidates above RM6.00.

Two things I've learned in recent years.
1) Don't follow EPF. EPF holds a large array of stocks from many different industries, and trade a small fraction of its holdings. The investment proceeds are then to employees as dividends. I am not familiar with EPF trading strategy, nor do I really care since its objective and its capacity to trade is very different from mine. I am pretty sure EPF still holds plenty of Topgloves share from pre-pandemic period while most prudent investors would have sold all it when prices reaches historical highs.

2) Take IB analysis with a grain of salt. I am not a professional financial analyst nor an expert in the glove industry. So I rely a lot on IB's insights and analysis. However be very careful with their target price. Bang miskin is a student in economics, and the data analysis in my field is like a sausage-making factory: once you know how it's made, you don't want to eat it. You will be surprised how shoddy some statistical method that goes into it, and for certain analytical method, when you change your estimate in certain ways, you can fit it into any narrative you want.

My advice here is that IB analysis sometimes offers important information and insights, especially to layman like me. But just like anything you read on the internet, you have to learn to think for yourself and don't take every word as gospel. Anyone who invest in gloves know that IB has been giving very lofty TP for gloves when prices skyrocketed (TP of RM10-RM12 for Topglove after share split), but changed their tune when prices tumbled.

I was planning to buy some at RM6, to bring my average price down from RM9.00 to RM8.50 but got cold feet went it went below RM6.00.

Anyway, I hope we don't see anything below RM6.00 but if we do may consider it again.

@bang_miskin Hard to say.. there's that few weeks of EMCO where they had to shut down, but who filled the gap left by the import ban on TG? Matrade website showed an increase in rubber exports in Aug. So... hard to say.

yesterday's closing was amazing. I bought in the morning, queued to sell at 5.78 but after pre-close, it was done at 5.97! Felt like Christmas came early..Wish we can see more of price action like that :) Today queuing to sell at 6.25.. see if lady luck still shines. LOL!
