Reported : “Ia (Rakushechnoye) adalah lapangan minyak darat dan memiliki 47 telaga. Ia kini berupaya mengeluarkan sehingga 1,000 tong minyak sehari dan dijangka meningkat kepada 3,000 tong sehari dalam tempoh lapan (8) tahun lagi. Jadi menerusi pebabitan Sumatec dalam Rakushechnoye, ia akan menikmati keuntungan 100 peratus untuk tempoh dua (2) tahun pertama bersandarkan kepada perjanjian pelaburan bersama (JIA) dengan MELL dan COG bagi membangunkan lapangan minyak Rakushechnoye itu. Syarikat Sumatec juga berhak kepada perkongsian keuntungan 50:50 dengan COG mulai tahun ketiga pengeluaran.”

Translation version :
“It (Rakushechnoye) is an oil field that has 47 wells. It is now capable of producing up to 1,000 barrels of oil per day and is expected to increase to 3,000 barrels per day within eight (8) years. So through Sumatec’s participation in Rakushechnoye, it will enjoy 100 percent of the profit for a period of two (2) years based on joint-investment agreement (JIA) with MELL and COG for the development of Rakushechnoye oil field. Sumatec is also entitled to a 50:50 profit sharing with the COG from the third year of production.”

Correction : Sumatec will enjoy 100% of the profit for the first 2 million barrels and 50 : 50 profit sharing subsequent to 2 million barrels of oil produced.

Correction : The US$45 million is the fee charged by SUMATEC to Markmore Energy (Labuan) Limited (“MELL”) over three years for the development and implementation of the gas development plan and not to manage the gas pipeline for MELL as reported.


2. Bernama, entitled “Sumatec Resources Expects to Turn Profitable in FY2014” dated 10 December 2013

Reported : "The oil development is on track at the moment with the mobilisation of the rig as our development schedule," he said, adding that the company expects substantial profit contribution of US$45 million from the commercialisation of the natural gas reserves in the field over the next three years.”

Correction : The expected revenue to SUMATEC is US$45 million over the next three years and not profit contribution as reported.

Good to see Sumatec is stable at this price level....some said it will drops further? Good, can buy more and keep! Or price will ounce back and fly sky high? Good also....untung banyak2.
